Wow. I will be coming back here! The camarones a la Diabla was great. Plenty of parking. The bar drinks looked good. The service was quick. But loses for one star for the interior and bathroom. Oh well… it’s west side san antonio. I guess it’s unrealistic to expect that… but this place didn’t have toilet paper in the bathroom. Hope I didn’t I clog up the pipes with paper towels. So BYOTP

OMGoodness! We enjoyed amazing service from friendly people who serve awesome food! We popped in here in a whim. They have such great items on the menu that it took us a while to order. While deciding they brought the usual chips and salsa but surprised us with a delicious Seafood Broth full of veggies. It was served with limes and crackers. We decided on A Fried Shrimp dinner and a Cheese Enchilada dinner. The Fried Shrimp dinner was 6 delicious, crispy, juicy shrimp served with crispy steak fries, a yellow rice with imitation crab meat and a side salad. The enchilada plate came with enchiladas, borracho beans and rice. all of the food was delicious. And I can honestly say that because we shared all the food. Our bill was 25 dollars but the extra canned soda added to that. I already added their address to my gps and phone. It was that good… I will be back! And the friendly atmosphere made the good food even more enjoyable.

Some of the best Mexican seafood I have had in San Antonio!

The bacon wrapped shrimp and the rice are the best. That’s the only reason I go there is to eat the shrimp and rice. I’ve been going there since it opened and I’ve always ordered the same thing. Most of the time the waitresses are slow and take like an hour to check if you need a refill on your drink. I’d rather order mines to go less of a wait.

We absolutely loved this place! Our waitress was super nice and attentive. We had the Camarones Enchipotlados and Camarones a La Diabla and both were DELICIOUS! We’ll definitely go back.

We had the lambada, shrimp enchiladas, and carnitas. Everything was just okay nothing to rave about, although portion size was large and prices were fair. The chicken was dry and the shrimp was not fully cleaned. We will probably not be returning.

Shrimp was ok, cocktail was horrible. Chips salsa, and the bread was awful. Really was expecting more. Customer service was great. The food was not good, sorry to say that. I rarely give ones.

Olé! Mas ceviche! Drove by, and saw the big«Mariscos» flags flying on Commerce street, and thought I’d pull in. We came in search of ceviche. I opted for the aguaschiles dish, which was shrimp, onions, and lots of lime juice served on cucumbers. Whoever was in charge of taking the poop veins out of the shrimp hadn’t really done such a good job. About half of them still had veins. I thought it was good tasting, with heavy lime juice. My dining companion had the shrimp ceviche, served in a tall glass. It was reportedly mediocre ceviche, nothing too memorable. The décor is bright and vibrant! I really enjoyed the chairs, which all had thematic images carved in them, and were brightly painted. They served up chips and salsa, both of which were made on site. The salsa was hot and flavorful lacked body and was on the runny side. The chips were corn tortillas that had just been fried up recently, and were still hot. There was Mexican boxing on television there, with a few families sitting together to watch it over dinner. The service was relaxed, and drinks weren’t refilled very often. The restrooms were in a sad state, with no towels, TP, or handsoap.

This place had been recommended by some co-workers & when I looked it up the pictures looked amazing– so we decided to go. Well this is the case where the pictures are not what the reality actually is. First we sat at the bar, although they had service, they really didn’t have service– how is this possible? The staff working the restaurant was actually responsible for covering the bar & actually making their customer’s drinks. I’m all for multitasking but this is a bit much– turns out that they are each responsible for ringing the customer up too! Had the Mexican shrimp cocktail– really disappointing(served with saltines). It was a Clamato based sauce– like water(!) runny without any flavor. Look a mexican cocktail is basically tomato, onion, cilantro & either serrano or jalapeño in a tomato based sauce but this place doesn’t even add peppers… to anything– not even the salsa!!! Come on!!! The shrimp were small & tasted like the frozen shrimp I can cook @ home. My husband had their Pelado seafood soup– that was no bueno! They advertise lobster– they should specify that it is imitation. & putting a big piece of fish with the entire skin is soooo not right & it did not look appetizing. This will not be a repeat.

I love this place. We always get the fried fish and the portion is enough for 4 people and it’s affordable. I also like the quesadillas!

This place has great authentic Mexican seafood — try it and you will not be disappointed. The shrimp aguachile was amazing. We got the small order with green salsa — you get a lot for the price! I have to say that I’m not a fan of the garlic fish soup they gave us — but since it was included for free, I can’t complain too much. Fish tacos are excellent as well. In San Antonio, we are lucky to have several great Mexican seafood places and Camaron Pelado is right near the top.

FabulOus! This was out first stop in San antonio. We had Angelica for a waitress and she was very sweet and accomodating. We had the market tacos, chicken enchiladas, garlic shrimp, and chipotle shrimp. The portions were large and delicious. Thank you! You could tell the food was cooked with love.

First time going and me and my wife were quite impressed. Ordered the ceviche and it was great either with crackers or chips. Great happy hour from 3−7p with $ 1−7oz Coronitas and pretty tasty margaritas also a buck. My wife got the garlic Talapia and I got the bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with Marlin and white cheese. Pretty good food all the way around with nice friendly staff as well. I kind of thought I was somewhere along the coast of Mexico with all the exotic seafood dishes. I think I found myself a fav mexican seafood place. Colorful atmosphere inside with lots of TV’s. By the way, I’ve been to them all and this is far better(creativity and taste) and a dollar or two maybe three) cheaper than La Playa and Gulfo.

Whole fish is spectacular, but can tend to be a little overdone. Opt for blackened, and it’s phenomenal. Ceviche is pretty out of this world as well. This place is high on my list of SA eateries.
