The food is consistently good, the service is always mediocre. They have karaōke some night of the week. The salsa they give you with the chips is mediocre at best. It’s cheap, the food is tasty. Rely on that and not much else.

Like most people in San Antonio I see it as a good sign when the staff has to go get the english speaker, to wait on you. I had some of the most amazing Enchiladas Verdes here. They were not drenched in sauce like at a lot of other places, the sauce was subtle, allowing the other flavors to shine. The rice and beans were perfect. I’m sure I’ll be back to try other selections.

Huge plate of Huevos Rancheros with healthy slices of fried potatoes and refried beans… will set you right for the day at the low low price of a buck and forty nine cents. At those prices, I decided to have additional breakfast taco action for a dollar more each… I love San Antonio… I was the only gringa in the place here on a thursday morning… so I knew there was goodness to be discovered here.
