Brown Coffee Company

This place is a gem and one of a kind type of coffee shop. I found this place earlier this year and was surprised to find the coffee place has been in business for 10 years! I’m so glad I found it. Brown’s doesn’t play around; this place is for the serious coffee drinker. It’s a small place with a minimalist but modern look to it. All, but one barista, are friendly and absolute sweethearts. And, of course, are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their products. They believe that coffee should be enjoyed in its purest form. And I couldn’t agree more, though cream and raw sugar on occasion, is quite nice. ;-)
They don’t have creamer, milk, or different sweeteners. That’s the only drawback if you’re not a serious coffee drinker. And don’t ask. But, they do have yummy pastries. Their almond croissant and chocolate croissants are absolutely tasty and pretty soft.
They do have two sweetened coffee drinks which contain the raw agave syrup. A Dirty Cold Brew or a Cortave (their version of a Cortado). I love both and order whichever one is appropriate; thanks to San Antonio’s bipolar weather.
So, this place is a must for a coffee drinkers. So, head on over. I guarantee you’ll go back! I know I do!
