Amazing Jump

Tried to go here to jump with my kids and they said it was closed permanently (by the city). People who had parties scheduled were showing up with all their decorations/​cakes and were mortified because they had no notice! After looking online, it looks like others have had this same issue now for two weeks! Why hasn’t the owner called the scheduled parties to let them know?!? Horrible for those poor kiddos :(
Also… the website is still up and running in full color and the phone number is still working with a full recording of hours, prices and times??? Why? Very weird. They need to shut it down if they’re closed and let parents know so they can adjust their party plans. So sad.

Be very aware of where you children are as this place is chaotic and anyone can walk out with your child. There are a few signs about not leaving your child unattended but there is an extreme lack of security. We came for a party and the pizza was served cold and the children were given cans of soda at an eight year and two year old party. Not sure they should have done that especially handing out cokes. This place looks far from clean and is definitely geared towards the old kids with a dj and strobe light jumping from 8 until on Saturdays. I will pass on any future parties at this place

New carpeting, nasty chairs (most of them are gone), benches (not so comfortable), and new mats in trampoline area. Still kind of pricey. $ 12/​hour. But kids are having fun!

Tried calling all day, left voicemails and sent emails to see about booking a bday party for my son. Not once did I get a call back or a email back. Will be going else where for the bday event.

I really wish I would’ve looked up the reviews for this place before we drove across town to it. Upon arrival there were bars on the windows which had us all a bit skeptical. As we looked around and saw the people going in and out it was clear we were a bit out of our element. When we walked inside it looked like an old Mexican swap meet turned into a jump place. It stunk so bad, and was the saddest most pathetic indoor trampoline park we have ever been to and we have visited many. While filling out the waiver form the lady advised me that my son was wearing cargo shorts that they don’t allow any shorts with hidden pockets in the facility. She said they sold shorts for $ 5.00 that we could purchase from them. This had me seriously skeptical like they have to be concerned about pockets. I looked at my husband and we all ran out of that place as fast as we could!!! Don’t GO!!! Stay far far away

I was impressed by this jumping place for kids. And think even adults will have fun there. Only thing i didnt like that you have to pay extra for other activities inside like hamster ball etc.

We were visiting from Richmond VA and my sister told me about this place. Driving up, I was skeptical just looking at the building. I almost thought bars were in the doors. Well, it was $ 5 for an hour. I have no clue what time we got there and no one said anything to us so we stayed longer. :/​The place is extremely run down and all the equipment looks dated and is noisy. Some areas are really dark and lonely looking… I would not recommend this place to anyone with small children. My child is 12 and is pretty self sufficient. The music was extremely inappropriate for kids. And all the workers looked to be young teens. I didn’t see any adults working while, I watched my child jump. I’m sure there are many better places to take your kids while in San Antonio.

What a shit hole and the perfect example of what not to do when it comes to customer service. My kiddo heard about this place and wanted to try somewhere new. I hesitantly agreed based on the reviews of this place (the ones from 3 – 6 moths ago continue to be accurate). First off the long line to check in. Second it’s dark, dingy, and looks aged. Third the front desk staff… That’s where I decided to walk out. I waited at the counter in front of the cashier for about 10 minutes patiently. He ignored me. Helped 3 other customers that randomly walked up. I moved myself to the front of the counter where others had decided to go ahead and ensure they were served before me. I asked if I was in the right spot to pay by credit card. He said, «yes. Stand there.» He then helped yet another jerk off that decided to walk up and get some tickets for a ball pit (thankful I missed what probably is a disease infested pool of urine, puke, and plastic balls that I doubt have ever been cleaned). At that point I walked out. I should have left in the first five minutes, but let’s be real when you have kids you don’t want to disappoint them. I tried. I really did. I will never go back. Ever. Period. I’d rather stand in line at the DMV then return to this place.

It’s a good place to take the kids. They’ll jump and run and get super tired. Bring a book, laptop, or something to do or you’ll be super bored if you didn’t meet up with an adult friend. They do sell beer, that’s a huge plus in my book. If you plan on coming more than 3 times a year, get their frequent member card. Also, Look for groupon deals if you have out of town visitors. Bottom line, good place for days that are too hot, wet, or cold.

I don’t know what these other reviewers expect. Kids are gonna get dirty and transfer said dirt to what they play on or with. I would have loved this place as a kid. Probably an acre+ of trampolines indoors air conditioned and padded for safety. They have a few inflatables as well which my kids enjoy. Arcade games and pool tables as well. They have a kitchen which serves food but I haven’t got anything from it before. Would be nice if they did the Chuck E Cheese door guard thing so I could relax a lot more while they run around burning off their energy. Be nice if they had a bar as well but that’s an unrealistic expectation. Overall the place is good fun. I have been here before as it got dark and that is not a good time for little kids as the middle school age kids come out and act raucus, but the rest of the day is fair game.

My kids really liked this place. It’s pretty big, so it’s hard to keep an eye on multiple kids at once.

What a ratchet, fonky, ghetto mess ! I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Its a hodge podge of dirty furniture, school desks, used foam floor mats, a raggedy carnival ride, vomit stained floors, black marked feet prints and to top it off a slutty clothing store inside as you walk inside. Ugh. Never again!
Parents if you ate a germaphobe stay away the dust bunnies and cobwebs will eat you up… Ugh pour bleach on me.

This place is ghetto. It’s the place where the gang bangers bring their gang banger kids to play. I didn’t feel safe there at all. Kids fighting. Kids pushing you when you are walking. My 4 year old got a piece of metal jammed in her foot. Adults can buy a buckets of beer and get trashed. Bottle caps all over the floor where kids are walking in socks. It was not worth the $ 60 I paid for my kids to play. Anyone can basically snatch your kid up because there is no one at the door. I will never bring my kids here again. Stay away from here. It’s not worth it.
$ 60 for my 3 kids and you still have to pay for the silly dangerous train and games.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This place is ABSOLUTELY horrid!!! I wish that I could post NO STARS!
The employees are completely rude. We had a party there and ordered everything over the phone. They told us everything wrong. We get there and have questions and the girl that was supposed to be our «party helper» got a huge attitude with us, rolled her neck and her eyes at us and then started getting loud with us.
And there’s a party preparation list that they are supposed to do 30 minutes prior to the party, and nothing was done. Our feet were sticking to the floor, the tables are filthy, and there is nothing in the room signifying that there’s a party… No balloons, no birthday sign, no nothing. The bathrooms smell like a fish bait shop.
Then the party package only covers enough pizza and drinks for the jumpers but they only have soda… No lemonade, no water, no Gatorade… My kids aren’t allowed to drink soda, so they had to walk to a water fountain when they got thirsty.
I am just absolutely appalled with this place and the service!

I went here despite reading the onslaught of terrible reviews AnD seeing the horrific pictures. (The floors and bouncy things are all crying out for a little-​no a lot of TLC) The pictures were unnecessary since when my son and I went Saturday night we saw it all for ourselves.:( – (Also I had purchased a Groupon)
I really try to be positive and thought that maybe Amazing Jump employees and/​or staff had read current reviews and spruced up the place-​but alas, that was not the case…
All around the building, papers were posted boasting that Amazing Jump would give tickets in exchange for a positive review. I could not bring myself to place such a review. I couldn’t imagine giving people a false sense of security.
Also, the building shares space with a flea market which isn’t very cool in my book. While we were there we witnessed a girl having her cellphone stolen from her while the thief bounced away laughing! — Crazy scary!
—One more thing the bouncy castles meant for the toddlers and play area for crawlers is in the back which is a dark and lonely area if you are there with only your child :(

What the hell happened to this place??? I took my nieces there a couple years ago, and they had the most amazing time here. Totally a 5-​star place! The parking lot was FULL, as was the inside too, obviously. But fast forward to 2013…
The first thing I notice is that the parking lot barely has any cars. And they got rid of the outside awning that was great shade for anybody waiting outside or smoking or whatever. Not a big deal, but whatever. I go inside and immediately notice they got rid of their video game area! I brought one of my nephews specifically for that reason, so that was disappointing.
Once I get to the cashier, I see right away that this place has gone terribly awry. Far less people, and the atmosphere just seemed like the owner didn’t care about it anymore. AND the price has gone up to a ridiculous amount. $ 13 for ONE HOUR, but $ 20 for an all-​day pass? «What kind of B.S. is this???» There’s no way the kids I had would be tired after an hour, but certainly aren’t going to go for more than 2 hours. But there’s no way I’m paying that much money for a place that doesn’t even closely compare to the Witte or Fiesta Texas. I think $ 7/​hour and $ 20/​all-​day is a fair enough price for that place.
But the part that I found just STUPID was the fact they didn’t allow anyone to wear denim. No jeans, no shorts — no denim, period. This, my friends, is the f**king stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. «Why?» you ask. Because…
THIS IS F**KING TEXAS. Who DOESN’T wear denim in this state? And here I am with three little girls that all wore denim. (My nephew just so happened to wear basketball shorts, so was okay.) I asked them what was up with the new policy, and they informed me it was an OLD policy that was simply never enforced. «Yeah, it probably wasn’t enforced because it was a STUPID IDEA TO BEGIN WITH.»
Anyways, I left right after that and took the kids to Skateland East, just down the road. They didn’t charge ridiculous prices, and the kiddos could wear what they were. AND I think they had themselves a pretty awesome time.

Gross and a big disorganized mess! Our family came to celebrate my sons 5^th birthday. We had 2 adults and 2 kids ages 3&5yrs. We arrive to find out that only the kids can jump. We like to have fun with our kids too, you know! They have separated areas for age groups. My kids were bored. It’s basically 3 long straight trampolines in a small area.
You can tell the staff is so stressed out and totally understaffed. It’s a shame because this place has potential. i wouldn’t waste your money on this place

This is a cool place for the kids to JUMP around. I went for a 6 year old birthday party. The kids seem to enjoy this place. The location is in an odd place right next door to a closed in flea market. They share one entrance and I think Amazing Jump needs their own door to welcome the families. Would I come again sure they offer party packages I believe they include pizza and drink and a private area to sit and eat during the party.

The concept of Amazing Jump has the potential for greatness. I more than got my inner child some much needed air time for my cousin’s 5^th birthday party. On a weeknight, we practically had the place to ourselves. Picturing this place on a weekend literally sends panic chills all over my body though.
Located indoors-​a plus. Shares an entrance with a flea market with no apparent security to keep kids/​parents together. Seems like kids can just walk in and out as they please. Scare #1. I can picture the parents now. You know the ones. They are so sick of being a parent they let their kid run loose, no manners, crashing other people’s birthday parties (this actually happened here). You can’t fault the young child but really? Watch your kids.
The trampolines were fun but you could tell some springs needed repair. The inflatables for the smaller kids are restricted to 8 and younger so that’s nice. There’s also an area for 5 & under set up a bit like a day care. I wonder how often everything is cleaned though. Scare #2.
When they rallied all the parents to get food and drink orders I was shocked at the selection. Sodas and water. Really San Antonio? We are plagued by diabetes and you don’t offer anything healthier besides water? This place is for kids. Maybe some juice? How about some milk? Scare #3.
There is also absolutely nothing healthy on the menu. Vending machines full of chips and candy can be found at a few corners. Pizza, stadium cheese nachos, hot dogs which although plenty yummy in their right are horribly over-​processed and low quality. How about some apple slices? Fruit cups? How about children with dietary restrictions? Can we bring in our own food for those kids? The atmosphere in this place suggests that answer is NO.
Only because the crew we were with are so dear to me did I have fun. The kids had a blast which ultimately is all that matters. If another friend’s child has a party here, I’ll attend but don’t plan on me throwing a party or spending any money here.
