A-1 Limousine & Sedan Service

I have used this service quite a few times for airport pickups and drop-​offs for me and friends or family and for a night out. The drivers are always on time with nice, clean cars. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but I wouldn’t use anyone else in San Antonio!

I previously booked A-​1 for a birthday event with a group of friends. The driver was awesome and definitely deserves five stars, however I had a negative experience with their office personnel. I called a couple of days before the event to confirm the pick up time and pricing and the man who answered the phone rudely told me «Look, I have several other customers to contact today. We’re very busy and I don’t have time to confirm with you right now.» and then he HUNG UP ON ME. This probably should have been a sign for me to cancel but I thought it would be too late to try and book with someone else.
The day before our event a woman called me and was very pleasant and confirmed the pricing with me and said that the price included gratuity. As I said the driver was great! He was very courteous and took us to all the places we wanted to go in a timely manner. At the end of the evening we paid the driver the price that I had confirmed with the woman and also asked him if he felt the payment was fair, and he said it was. Not even 15 minutes after the driver had left the rude man from before called me (this is at 2am!) and asked me, in a very accusing tone by the way, «Is there any reason why you didn’t tip the driver?». I explained to him that the woman we talked to the day before had told us that gratuity was included in the final price and that the driver HIMSELF said the payment was fair. The man says that what I was told was wrong and that any other limo service in San Antonio would not be that cheap (he actually laughed at me at this point as if I was supposed to know that). Then he tells me that they can add an additional tip to the credit card that they have on file that I used to make the deposit. I told him no since I had received confirmation from two of his employees that the payment was correct. At this point he tells me that if I don’t want to charge it to my card that I can send a check to their office, to which I also denied. I couldn’t believe that he was still trying to get more money from me after his own employees had confirmed the price with me. I’m sad that I didn’t get this unprofessional man’s name because he definitely makes this company look bad in my eyes.

I worked as an Executive Assistant for a company that brought in a lot of travelers. We use A1 exclusively for local, domestic, and our international travel needs. They meet our expectations on every trip. I have also used them for personal transportation and they have always been exceptional.

Quick trip to San Antonio for a family wedding. Full disclosure here, my husband and I own a sedan & limo company in Chicago (Home James Chicago). I searched Unilocal and did not see much, so I decided to give these guys a shot. Robert was my driver, or maybe I should say my «wonderful» driver. Exceptional service, clean car and right on time on Saturday. Robert even made a special trip on Sunday to take me to the wedding and to return later in the evening with the stretch. Once again on Monday there he was right on time and ready to go back to the airport. I will definitely recommend this company to any of my customers who are heading south to San Antonio.
