I love the smoothies here. And I wish I could give this place a good review but 6 out of the last 7 times I’ve been here, they’ve been out of something I need for smoothie. They’re out of mangos, or blueberries or pomegranate juice or something else EVERYTIME! I could forgive this once or twice. But this much? No way. Surely they could do better than that. I think I could write up a better stocking plan than whatever they have. If you’re craving a smoothie, don’t stop here — they’re probably out of whatever it is you want.

Fireplace. Couch. Friendly staff, and so much more. Now let’s talk about the yogurt. Love it and the toppings. The only thing I wish is that they did not charge for toppings as some of their competitors have done, otherwise, love it!

They have a fireplace! What frozen yogurt joint has a fireplace, couches, comfy pillows and soft mellow lighting? Well apparently Red Mango does. Now do notice this location is in Salt Lake City, Utah where it snows so this ambiance is perfect for fall and winter visits. Take into mind this isn’t just any regular frozen yogurt, this is the healthy stuff. No additives, junk, white sugar or high fructose corn syrup. It is 100% natural, gluten free, nonfat and contains active probiotics. Which for me is pretty impressive if you compare it to the ingredients in the same old frozen yogurt shops. They still have great toppings and have more options on their menu to choose from, ei: smoothies, parfaits and fro-yo mash ups(I don’t know what those are, check their website out). A few draw backs: they’re a little more pricey given the fact they use higher quality ingredients, they don’t have as many flavors available as most self serve yogurt shops and you can sample the flavors but the employees dish up and serve what you order. For me the stuff tastes great, I love the fact the yogurt has so many more health benefits. I only wish they had more locations. Hopefully in the future we’ll see little Red Mangos popping up everywhere!

I love the original tart flavor here but all of their other flavors are terrible. Also, it seems like all the other yogurt restaurants are going self-serve. I think this place should do the same because people really like it.

Came in 20 minutes before they were closing and they had shut down ¾ of the machines so we were limited to what we could order. Just a bunch of high school kids doing a half ass job on a Friday night and ruining the business! I think it’s time to clean house at this location! I will NOT be returning anytime lately and will tell all of my friends to do the same!

I love their smoothies and their yogurt but I have never been treated so poorly by someone serving me food. I will not be coming back here again. And this treatment has lost you a regular customer. For reference I was here around 11:30 on February 18.

Since the only Pinkberry yogurt shop in town is inside the International Airport, Red Mango, by default, gets the award for best frozen yogurt in Salt Lake City. They really are quite good! They rotate the flavors regularly, so there’s always a wide variety if you go in every few weeks. And what a warm wonderful shop inside, especially on a cold day. Beautiful fireplace, a very friendly staff. There is only one problem. The parking sucks! They have a lot behind the store that shares its spaces with several other businesses in the building, and I have driven through that parking lot and not found a space to park in on more than one occasion. Sometimes you can find an empty slot directly in front of the store on the street, but if that one is not available, you just have to go on and find the cure for your sweet tooth someplace else!

Great flavors even though location is a bit out of the way! We both had the mixed berry parfait which is a great treat! I mixed two flavors of yogurt with the fresh fruit. Definitely will be going to Red Mango locations during our trips!

Great smoothies, boring and cluttered ambiance but who cares? You’re just getting a smoothie.

Good quality, but I prefer self serve places like Menchies. And man was it expensive. I didn’t realize that toppings were so much extra and wasn’t informed until immediately after I had placed a nice cash tip in the tip jar. I got a size small and it cost me $ 8(not including tip). The atmosphere is pleasant(loved sitting by the fire on a cold rainy day), but I would prefer to self serve and pay by the weight like other frozen yogurt stores in the area. Probably not coming back, but it was worth trying.

I enjoyed my yogurt. I’d rather this was self serve charge by ounce. The first topping is $ 1 and each additional one is $ 0.25 but it’s not worth it when they all fall off anyways. The yogurt bases are good but the prices are not are on the high end for yogurt shops.

This place is delicious. Pros: Great flavors that taste better than most places. They change their flavors so there’s always something new to try. Lots of quality toppings. Clean atmosphere. Fireplace to sit next to. Cons: Expensive for a dessert but not more expensive than most yogurt places. Toppings are $ 1 for the first and .25 cents for each additional.

After my son suddenly decided we should go there(we’ve driven by it repeatedly, but none of us has ever been here before), we all hopped in and finally made it over. The first thing I thought when we walked in was that the lobby smelled like a hotel, which it does, though the higher end ones. There’s even a fireplace and couches around the fireplace, sort of serving the odd hotel motif. As to what’s there… frozen yogurt and smoothies. That’s it. It’s of pretty decent quality overall, though the Greek coconut is a couple zillion times better than the pineapple. For shakes and things like that, I find piña colada to be one of the ultimate flavor combinations, but there are a number of places that do poorly with this. It is still my general test and it mostly was here also and it mostly failed, excepting the fantastic coconut. They also have a decent array of toppings, including some very nice blackberries, so good on them there. Service was also very good. As another reviewer has mentioned, you start with expensive frozen yogurt and then pay more for toppings. So you may wind up at around $ 10 for a couple small cups of yogurt. We happened to have a coupon, which made it better, but it’s very hard to consider doing this very often at that price. I may try a smoothie at some point from there, though smoothies are not something I generally bother with, but they did have some interesting ones. All in all, not bad, but nothing earth-shattering or especially necessary, either. So, letting a three year old choose a place to go out to get some treats essentially winds up being a wash… this time.

This is not self serve. Only 4 flavors: pumpkin spice, vanilla latte, peanut butter and plain. A small with one topping is $ 4.80. I’m not super impressed. The parking lot is under construction so you have to park across the street. The guy working said the outside lights don’t work when they turn the inside lights on. The wifi was locked, not sure if it’s available to the public or not.

This is one of the best yogurt places I’ve encountered. It’s a major plus that their ingredients are all natural and there’s a unique tartness to their yogurt. Yum! I only give it 4 stars because the portions are inconsistent(it’s not self serve). I like the original, honey, mango… so good! They need a banana yogurt!

Taste: Yogurts taste pretty good. Nothing particularly special about them. Toppings were decent. Nice fruit selection and I’ve always been a fan of mochi. Price: This is what’s really hurting them, I feel. After paying a fair amount for your yogurt, you have to pay a dollar for your first topping and then an additional twenty five cents per topping after. Kind of steep. Environment: modern, clean. Service: exactly what you’d expect from high school kids on summer break. Not horrific, but not great.

Ok so I consider myself a bit of a yogurt-connoisseur. I’ve lost count of how many places I have tried over the years. This place is a little unusual in that it is not self-serve. The staff serve the yogurt to you including your toppings. They don’t have a lot of flavor options, usually around 4 – 6, but their yogurt is good. Their topping options are also limited but better quality than other places. Their organic granola is fabulous! For the amount of product you get, I think the price is higher than other places because it’s not based on weight. There are multiple locations in town but this location across from Sugar House park has been consistently clean with friendly staff. It’s a great evening to walk at the park then stop by for a healthier treat!

For Utah(unable to round up a couple of pink berry stores) this is some of the best you’ll get. The staff at this one is kinda weird and a tiny bit off putting, but all in all I dig. As healthy as you can get whilst having dessert(as long as you stick with fruit and tart).

Cute place, with friendly service and atmosphere. The choices of the froyo base and toppings are limited. This last time my friend and I went I got a regular size one with two toppings, and the friend got a parfait, and together they came to be about $ 12. I don’t usually mind the prices when I try new stuff, but this time $ 12 seems high because my froyo and the toppings were not up to par with other froyo shops in town. It was simply a «meh.» My friend did finish her parfait.

Call me a traditionalist. Call me old-school. Shoot, call me old fashioned. But when I gets me my froyo, I want to see the price in front of me. This whole pay-by-the-ounce thing is out of control. Just tell me what it’s going to cost and I’ll buy it. Or not. So kudos to Red Mango for having a few sizes to choose from and for publishing the price right there in front of you. Unfortunately, the price is a little hard to swallow. I mean, it’s on par with other froyo so that’s not a condemnation of Red Mango, but rather of the whole froyo establishment. Big Yogurt has us by the taste buds and keeps raking us over the coals for more money. The cold stuff is reasonably priced, but they make you fork over a buck for your first topping. Eep. Then it’s .25 cents for add’l toppers. The stuff is pretty good. Not too tart, and a nice texture. I had a mango flavor with strawberries and cheesecake bites(that’s what those little squares that look like croutons are) and was pleased with my pairing ability. The ambiance is kind of loud, and tonight when the A/C was on it was downright chilly. But kind of a cool place to kick it on a couch. I have a hard time getting enthused about frozen yogurt, but with published prices and a manageable selection of toppings this place will do just fine. Kinda spendy, but that’s the nature of the beast.
