Our Gelato:
After learning the craft from Italian Artisans, we are excited to bring frozen Italian indulgences to our local Utah community. Our products are handmade from the finest natural ingredients. We use imported Italian flavors, choosing the best that each area of Italy has to offer, such as pistachio, hazelnut, tiramisu, gran caffe, amarena (wild cherry) and Pernigotti chocolate. Our Rosehill Dairy milk frp, Cache Valley is all RGBH free. We use locally grown, hand-selected fruits and berries in season for our sorbettos. Free from heavy creams, Dolcetti provides delicate and exotic flavors. Whereas traditional ice creams add air to increase volume, gelato’s extreme density gives intense flavor and a smooth, creamy texture, with 1⁄3 the fat. And you won’t believe our sorbetto is dairy free with less than 1% fat.
We also have belgian waffles, La Barba coffee, The Queen’s Tea, macarons, and desserts.
History
Established in 2004.
Elizabeth and Mark England are a husband wife team who started
with four Italian ice cars placed around SLC in 2004.
They soon realized they wanted to make something that reminded
them of their many trips to Italy. They researched gelato techniques. After a year of experimenting, they haunted the best gelaterias in Italy to find the most authentic flavors and ingredients, making sure they were making it to the highest Italian standards. In 2007, they flew in a master gelato maker to continue refining their skills, and adding new recipes to their collection. Their gelato recipes are made from scratch not mixes. Both creative and intuitive artists by nature they expect the best in whatever they create, «Our goal is to provide people with the same experiences they have in Italy, to make true Italian artisan gelato with the finest fruits and most authentic Italian ingredients, producing the taste of Italy in Utah.»
