Description

Specialties

REA is a full service architectural firm located in Salt Lake City, Utah. We have been in business for over 25 years, and we believe our success is founded in providing an enjoyable, positive experience to our clients. We employ honest, hard-working, efficient personnel who love this work, and who strive to be proud of every project they are involved with.

History

Established in 1994.

In the Spring of 1988, Rand Eardley and Hank Louis, proposed to the Principles of the Salt Lake City firm for whom they were working the idea of opening a branch office in Park City, Utah. Although receptive to the idea, the Principles of the firm hesitated long enough, that Rand and Hank decided to venture out on their own and in May of 1988, 15.15 Architects was created.

Within the first year 15.15 Architects had outgrown their small office and moved to a larger suite where they could continue to expand their staff and broaden their portfolio. Projects ranged from small residential remodels, to a Deer Valley Hotel, to an art exhibit in Yokohama, Japan.

By the fall of 1994, the business philosophies of Rand and Hank varied enough that it was agreed to terminate the partnership, dissolve 15.15 Architects and reestablish businesses separately. Rand moved his business to Salt Lake City and continued practicing architecture as REA Architecture, Inc.
