I would give them negative stars if the system allows me to. I’ve been there for cleaning and since then the doctor kept telling me my wisdom tooth needs to be taken out however my orthodontist told me a completely different story. In addition, I had six fillings there and they dropped me a bill of over $ 300. The problem is my insurance could totally cover that up and these guys would not even bother to ask. My guess is they just wanna charge twice to make more money. Today I just got another bill, charging me $ 21 without explaining why. I swear I wouldn’t be back again.

Ive been to this dentist twice now (to see Dr. Clifford), once for myself and once with my children. I have four year old twins and everyone was wonderful with my kids– letting them hold and touch the tools, explaining everything, letting them push the buttons to move the chairs up and down. My kids now think that a visit to the dentist is a special treat and can’t wait to go back. I had my wisdom teeth removed and everyone was cheerful and helpful. When I called the clinic in a panic an hour before my appointment– they called in a prescription for anxiety for me and put me at ease once I was there.

I would not recommend this office. I went in and they told me that I had about 6 cavities that I needed to be filled ASAP and when I had another dentist look at my teeth, he told me I only needed about 1 cavity filled. I haven’t been to this place in over a year and I’ve never received anything in the mail from them, but now they are billing me for some bogus charge and won’t even explain to me what the charge is for. They claim that they have sent things to me before, but can’t even tell me the dates these so called bills were sent on. I feel like they are just trying to nickel and dime people all they can. Definitely won’t be back.

Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical professional. They did very shoddy work. They had to install a dental piece three times because they installed it wrong twice — the first time it was installed with gum clearly exposed, the second time they cracked it when installing it and didn’t even notice. I noticed on my drive home and had to turn around and show them. The third one is much larger than the surrounding teeth, which is not how it should be. I am having to pay a new dentist to reduce the size. When I expressed frustration during what was probably my sixth visit (fittings, re-​fittings, etc), the dentist belittled and mocked me and told me that having to reinstall three times was common. I’ve met with and spoken with two other dentists at this point and calibrated my experience with iSmile/​Progressive Dental to make sure I hadn’t misunderstood what happened there. These new dentists confirmed that it is not common for this multitude of issues, and that this third piece is, indeed, not sized standardly.
This wasn’t just one bad visit or a simple clash of personalities. This was consistently poor work and very unprofessional behavior. When I went back in to settle something I was being wrongly billed for (on top of everything else), they told me that there had been a lot of issues and that several staff changes had been made as a result. Don’t be fooled — the dentists are the same, and three of them did work on my teeth.
My visits with this practice were a traumatizing experience. They showed zero empathy, never apologized. Their work is poor, they are dismissive, and they are unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. This is literally the first time I’ve ever written an online review of any business, but the experiences were so awful I feel compelled to warn any future potential clients. Going to the dentist is already not fun. Don’t add to it by choosing iSmile/​Progressive Dental. Go anywhere but here!
