Literally the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. The only reason I followed through with the sale was because it was exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price. For starters, I was purchasing the car out of state. Boy that threw them for a loop. I came from three hours away to purchase the car, and they won’t accept a personal check. So I have to make the trip a second time with a cashier’s check only to be told that they could’ve taken my personal check days before. On the day I signed my paperwork, they acted like it was a burden that they had to file taxes for a different state. And acted as though it was my fault that taxes are different. I also was there filling out paperwork about an hour before they closed, so it felt as though I was being rushed. And it turns out I was! Because everyone I worked with neglected to tell me about alllllll this other stuff I was missing when I filled out paperwork. I understand ignorance of laws between states, but this was simple neglect on behalf of the sales people and financiers that put me in this vehicle. It’s been three weeks since I purchased the vehicle and I’m still having to deal with missing information and «oh we can’t do that because it’s out of state.» Now I’m being told that a title application can’t be submitted because my husband/​co-​signer doesn’t have the same address on his license as I do, something that doesn’t matter in our state. My husband purchased a car in Charlotte last year and we had no problems when it came to processing out of state paperwork. TEAM had the nerve to ask me to call the Charlotte dealership and ask them how they filed their paperwork. Suddenly I have all these extra responsibilities that I don’t have time to take care of, and I shouldn’t have to worry about it. I assumed that when you give someone a large sum of money they take care of things like this. I wouldn’t buy another car from Team for $ 1. In all of this, I can say that my salesman was very courteous and I didn’t feel pressured, but he was neglectful when it came to the important parts. But he hasn’t been alone in his neglect. I would have liked to give zero stars (because Team gives zero shits about their customers), but it looks like I have to dignify them with at least one.

Nat will work his butt off to find you a reliable and affordable car for you, regardless of your budget. Highly recommend going to him.

I had a wonderful experience buying my 2013 Buick Verano at Team Auto Group. I live in Chapel Hill which is 90 miles away and ended up at Team Auto because the Internet Manager, Keith Brown, responded quickly to my request for information. I wasn’t sure exactly which make or model I wanted and he spent a lot of time with my on the phone explaining the differences in models and packages. Even though it was a bit of a drive, I felt compelled to drive to Salisbury to work with Keith. When I arrived, he was super helpful, friendly and attentive. We must have test drove 5 or 6 cars. He really helped me figure out which vehicle was the right one for me and would suit my needs. Keith and the managers were very patient with me explaining the differences in payments and incentives for each vehicle I drove. They were also very fair on how much they gave me for my trade-​in. Once I decided which vehicle worked for me, they actually found me the exact vehicle and got it from another dealership. I am very happy with my entire experience dealing with Team Auto Group and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. They were absolutely worth the trip from Chapel Hill.
