The best place in Salinas to get a cup of GO, and place to kick back and relax, or have a business meeting! The staff are great. Connie sets a professional yet comfortable tone in her leadership too! Need more Peets and fewer Pirates!

I love this coffee. It’s consistently good. My current favorite is iced caramel latte. My afternoons are complete with a coffee and cookie. The people are always helpful.

Free wi-fi at this location. Only downfall is that they close early but service and quality of the drinks are great.

I’m a black coffee kind of guy. Considering that you would think coffee is just coffee. Not this place. the coffee here is always fresh and not waiting around in a stream pump pot waiting for your order. They always brew their coffee in small batches so it shows in the taste. It their coffee has a good amount of caffeine to help pick you up. If I had to choose between Starbucks and this place. I will always have to say Pete’s coffee. Not too busy and the service is always friendly.

Always a great drink. Rarely ever any lines when I go… but that could be the time of day I go or the location. I go every time we visit salinas. Love the Irish Breakfast Tea!

The person at the counter was very helpful and the environment was very clean. Interest fact: the lobby of this Peet’s is suppose to be the largest in California!

I actually like the tall ceilings and layout… I’ve been to several Pete’s and I enjoy the fact that this place is open, bright and inviting. Most locations feel dark and gloomy. Fun staff, great drinks, fast service. Love this place.

Really like peets coffee but this location is just bad. The place is just weird. Large ceiling with little warmth. Bad service as well. Look elsewhere for a good cup.

Excellent service by the attractive young man behind the counter. Thank you for helping me cash in my Christmas gift card. We decided on some bottles of Honey for mom, and a coffee for me. Beautiful new place has a lovely ambiance. Mocha Java coffee was wonderful, too.

This shop is a really great addition to the Salinas area. It’s spacious and welcoming and you can’t go wrong with the coffee. I drink this coffee at home and I love it but it’s even better having it brewed right there in the shop. They also have a lot more flavors to chose from and they will grind beans for you if you need to or you can get whole beans. Delicious and fresh coffee with friendly service.

Love Peet’s! Glad to see them in Salinas, came to get my latte. Wonderful service, great huge lounge area and icing on the cake is the $ 1 off check-in promotion. Happy all around!

This was my first time ever to a Peet’s Coffee & Tea. We do have them in Illinois, but I just haven’t had the chance to visit. I saw a deal on Unilocal for $ 1 off a beverage order so off my boyfriend and I went to get our caffeine fix for the day. The location is located in a relatively busy stip mall and there is plenty of parking. The store itself is pretty big, airy, bright and welcoming. There are plenty of seats as well as outlets in case you want to stay longer and do work or relax. Compared to other coffee places, the prices seem OK though a bit high in my opinion. The menu offers a lot of options as well. I got the Peppermint Mocha and had no issues with that. My boyfriend ordered a double espresso and said it tasted fine. The only downside was that the cashier didn’t honor my $ 1 off. But, it was only a buck so it wasn’t like I was going to make a big deal about it. Overall, good location and a good alternative to other coffee places in the area. Give it a try!

I stopped by this Peet’s to kill some time. It was late in the night so there were few people present which made for a soothing coffee break. I tried their mocha with caramel in soy. It was tasty, not too sweet not too bland. I also had a taste of their gingerbread latte also with soy and that was also tasty. Their service was noteworthy since the main barista was very attentive to our liking of the drinks. She offered to remake them if we were not satisfied and offered us some water as well. Being a coffee snob I was pleased with their La Marzocco 3 group espresso machine. Its nice to see that not everyone is moving to the super-ultra-automatic machines leaving some of the art of being a barista intact. This is a new location so everything is in its place and super clean. Their layout is somewhat bland. Maybe a few more plush couches and some dimmer lighting might help, but then again its a major coffee chain so that’s unlikely.
