Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salina

Great place! Very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Nice sized, modern room. Good breakfast selections and good coffee. I was traveling solo so safety was a priority, and I felt very comfortable here. I’m pretty picky about hotels, and would definitely stay here again.

Brand new hotel & very, very nice. Great room and staff is very friendly, helpful and nice.
Nice stop for great night rest driving across country and there’s free hot breakfast included and a Starbucks at the Petro truck stop by the exit for rocket fuel for the days drive.
I was most impressed, enough to write a review.
FYI — they also have a Tesla charging station in parking lot.

Slept well. This hotel was very nice and clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was great and very filling. Would stay here again if necessary. Beds were wonderful

H inn express is just not up to par with Hampton inn or Hilton garden inn. Maybe it will be some day, but not yet. Basically, it’s definitely worth the extra $ 10 plus to stay at one of the others. For example, the sheets are rougher and the bathroom is not as user friendly, eg, uncomfortable toilet seat and very cheap tp. Those are just some examples of how it feels like a cheap hotel. You still have a way to go holiday inn. For the price they are charging, I was probably too generous for 3 stars.

This place was nice, good clean room, nice pool and spa. They have six Tesla charging stations for your electric car! It was really windy outside!

. I got the date wrong on the reservation. We were traveling and my husband got sick and was in the emergency room. We got to the hotel pretty late and they didn’t have my reservation. They gave me a room and helped me out with the
cancellation.

Fabulous! We didn’t stop til fairly late and there were only 3 rooms left and 2 parties walked in behind us. We had a massive room with everything we needed, including Wifi and premium TV channels.
Breakfast was very good, be sure to try the cinnamon rolls which were hot and fresh. Everything felt new and the mattresses were great.

Good value, clean rooms, nice indoor pool for the kids to burn off energy before bed.
I much prefer the afternoon staff to the morning staff. Liz and Kay are great! I do not know the morning staff’s names, I have never seen them wear name tags. I think one is the hotel manager, not sure.
My kids enjoy the selections offered at the free breakfast.
I also enjoy the proximity to a popular coffee shop in a clean gas station on the corner.
We have stayed here several times and will continue to do so.
I’m not sure why, but the front desk does not appear to be staffed at all times, it is necessary to ring the bell to get someone to come help you at the desk. Maybe they have office work that takes them away from the front desk? I would feel more comfortable and secure if someone at the front desk actually monitored the lobby area. The desk is left unattended so often that it would be easy for non-​guests to slip into the hotel.

We enjoyed staying here last night. We got a queen suite with a fold out couch for two adults and four kids (including a teenager and a baby). The room was clean except a few hairs in the bath tub. We love the mini fridge option and how the room feels slightly bigger than other rooms. The breakfast was pretty good and the pool is a nice option for the kids. I want to bookmark this hotel for future.

I am IHG brand loyal, so I’ve stayed at many IHG hotels (especially HI Express) throughout the years. I have to say that this is by far the nicest HI Express I’ve ever stayed at. It’s the second nicest IHG hotel I’ve ever stayed at (second to The Intercontinental in Chicago). This hotel is clearly newer. They have electric car charging stations, all the furniture is new and beautifully coordinated, the beds are super comfy, and we even had a full kitchenette in our standard king room! They had a complementary cocktail hour in the kitchen area when we checked in with beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area! Not only was everything pretty and new, but it was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful! There is a reason this place was packed and all the other hotels next door were empty.

We entered the empty lobby of the hotel to start our three night stay.
You know the feeling you get that you are interrupting the person that is suppose to check you in?
That was it — it went down hill from there. They called someone else to the desk. Then they couldn’t find our reservation and so on.
I travel every week and a sense of hospitality at the front desk is paramount. This was missing at this hotel.
We had just left the Kansas City Holiday Inn Express and it was a five star experience in every way.

Clean, up to date, comfortable bed, and most importantly-​clean! Not much else to say except that the $ 115 per night price tag is a little excessive, but worth it for a clean place to sleep.

Great front desk staff.
They always upgrade me to a Suite.
Nicer breakfast room than most.
Rooms are pretty quiet.
Easy to see from the freeway, but off on a back road with a lot of semi’s on it.
