Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

This place was so moldy, dirty and run down. Gross. I will never get a cheap motel again. Crackish!

First of all I just want to say that I have been to several hotels in the area and I will always be coming back to the Econolodge! The new manager they have is one of the nicest ladies I have ever met, she definitely deserved the promotion! Julia is a breath of fresh air, compared to some of the other hotel managers I have dealt with in the past three years with my job.
We were going to be staying here for a few days. The shower head in our room was really sad. Since we were going to be here for a few days, I told Julia. When we came back from our trip to the zoo it had been changed!
The rooms were always clean and our rooms that we’ve stayed and have always had a refrigerator and microwave in them.
They have a 7 foot pool which is a rarity in any hotel and a Jacuzzi that seats four.
I truly do not know why some of the other people who commented said they did not feel safe here.
I’ve stayed at least 10 to 15 times and I’ve never had any problems whatsoever. I’m not saying it’s the prettiest hotel on the outside but for this area I think it’s fantastic!

After reading a few reviews on here, my wife and I, and our newborn daughter stayed here one night. The rooms were very clean, very large and very affordable. We got a king room which was large enough to set up our crib and easily get around with no problem. There was also a fridge and microwave in the room. There was a large indoor pool and hot tub located in a seperate building. For the price, Id say this econo lodge was a great deal.

My guy said it’s new management. We decided to stay the night to rest up. Outside does look sketchy, but it’s nice and quiet.
The rooms big, but the sheets had a funky smell that had me coughing throughout the night.
Bathrooms are small, but water had good pressure.
For just a night stay, it’s okay and the price is good.

Worth every dime and very affordable! Staff was very friendly. Rooms clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Air conditioning felt good after driving from being in the sun all day. Highly recommend this place.

Very grouchy staff I got yelled at for asking how many beds they have in a room. Disgusting and stinky rooms and the toilet didn’t flush gross place

This place is well worth the money. We have been traveling across the US and this one was the best in this price range so far. It was recently updated and had modern décor and comfy beds. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast had a waffle machine and hot biscuits and gravy. I’d stay again.

This place is now the Econolodge. Great value for $ 55! It was just what we needed. Nothing fancy, but clean and it seems as though they’re trying to reclaim what used to be a good establishment. People were all very friendly and the bed was comfy and shower was nice and updated. I like the fact that it’s not right on the freeway so you don’t get the noise. The other nice thing is that the window faces away from the morning sun, so we were not blinded when we walked out the door. Sufficient breakfast, however the only juice available was Sunny Delight. I would recommend this place for a good value on a very tight budget.

I had read great reviews, so I figured I’d stay here. The first guy behind the counter was nice and helpful. I hadn’t yet entered the room, instead going out to eat first. When I got back and entered my room, it was hot and smelled of urin. One of the door locks was completely broken off. I turned on the air conditioner, got into the bed and immediately felt the pee spot on the bed. I tried to call the front desk, but the room phone didn’t work. I walked to the front desk to request a different room. The original person I had spoken with wasn’t there, but someone else was. The new man was argumentative and made jokes with the kind of aggressive sense of dry humor that sought to place the blame of the multiple problems on me. I ended up finally getting a replacement room that was mediocre and had no phone whatsoever, but at least it locked and wasn’t covered in urin.

Don’t let the outside appearance scare you off. The ROOMS are newly remodeled, huge, and the beds are SO comfortable! We stayed for two nights over Thanksgiving and slept like logs! I don’t remember anything once my head hit the pillow.

The only thing missing was a frig and microwave, but they serve a decent sized breakfast.

After our previous dive, we were a little scared when we pulled in here. It is definitely a motel. That said, price is extremely reasonable for what you receive. The rooms were large and clean. Place was quiet. They have an indoor pool with a jacuzzi tub. Pool was a good size and very clean. Kids loved it and they had it all to themselves. We were glad it was indoor, because the area was experiencing a major thunderstorm (although it only brushed by Salina). Breakfast was actually better than your average motel breakfast and included biscuits and gravy! As well as waffles.
For a budget motel, very nice.

I’d give them zero stars if I could. Poor service, rooms dirty. One room we were given was never cleaned, bed not made, bottles and trash everywhere. Really bad. We got our money back and went elsewhere.

Passing through Kansas heading to Denver and got very lucky stopping at this hotel.

HIDDEN GEM! They recently remodeled — new beds, TV, carpet, etc. Had best night’s sleep in days! Room included microwave and fridge. Very quiet location close to the freeway but not ON the freeway. All for a price about $ 2 more than the Motel 6 right on I-​70. Friendly, helpful staff and management.
