Business Owner

CT Holman earned his Masters of Science degree in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) from the American College of TCM in San Francisco in 2000. He completed his residency in China at the Cheng Du TCM University Hospital in the internal medicine, oncology and pediatric departments. CT is licensed acupuncturist and certified herbalist in California and Oregon.

He enjoys practicing in Salem and has brought classical Chinese medicine to the community since 2001. CT studies under internationally recognized teachers in acupuncture, pulse reading diagnosis, qi gong and face reading diagnosis.

In addition to treating patients, he teaches Chinese medicine and qi gong. CT published an article in the Journal of Chinese Medicine and was an editor for the award winning textbook, «Applied Channel Theory in Chinese Medicine,» by Dr. Wang Ju-​Yi and Jason Robertson. CT is an offsite supervisor for the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.

The receptionist in my chiropractor’s office recommended this clinic. CT Holmes is wonderful — very positive, upbeat and extremely competent. I really believe in acupuncture as a modality that can help just about anything that goes wrong with the body. I had a great practitioner in the state I moved from but had a couple of false starts here.
I love going to the clinic — CT is always ready for me and I’ve never had to wait. The clinic is appealing and has very soothing energy, as do the practice rooms. His technique for inserting the needles is quick and usually pretty painless.
CT is well versed in other healing arts as well, so his treatments work on multiple levels. Visit his website for more insight into his unique skill set and training. And in terms of treating the whole person, he makes simple, easy to follow suggestions that don’t require the commitment of a fanatic.
I’m very glad I found this clinic and will continue to go, as well as recommend to any other person who’d like to give acupuncture a try.

Never believed in acupuncture until the last few years, found it helps my condition immensely and keeps me out of the hospital! CT Holman at Redwood Spring is fantastic! He makes it a comfortable, even enjoyable, experience, he listens to all my jabbering about everything and treats me for what I need help for, in addition to my normal treatment. I recommend him highly!

I am relatively new to acupuncture and I am not one of those new age, all-​natural hippies. Luckily, neither is CT. He is a normal guy who specializes in this craft and makes things comfortable. He seems «modernized» and incorporates electrical stim and heat to his needles in certain areas. For someone who went in leery, I am a fan of CT.
