Honestly, the cruise itself was ok, but good luck finding the place. Pitch black walkway. literally no lights and poor signage. For $ 25+ a ticket, I think you can do better. Drinks were «ok» and the music was provided by a DJ, not a live band as originally advertised. We did see fireworks which was cool and a bonus. Oh and the bathrooms were intersting.

I would’ve given this place 5 stars but 2 of the employees were so awful I wanted to leave immediately. Let me start off by saying I went on the 9:00 PM Boo’s Cruise for Halloween on October 30^th, 2015, and it was some of the most fun I’ve ever had! Great dancing, great bar, great boat, fantastic food. My girlfriend and I had went upstairs about 40 min into the cruise to order food and drinks. We had ordered 2 Long Islands and 2 Cheeseburgers. Right before paying we told them we wanted to add lettuce and tomato on the burgers. Not a big deal, we just wanted to add something extra. The moment we asked, the older blonde bartender got the worst attitude with us. She started yelling at me and my girlfriend and told us to make up our minds or get out of line. She started yelling at us so we yelled right back. Immediately the guy who was cooking the food pointed his finger in our faces and told us to calm down or he was going to cut us off! Cut me off? This is my second drink on something called the BOO’S CRUISE! BOO’S! ALCOHOL! I understand they were busy and it can be stressful. But you’re in Salem working a bar and grill on Halloween weekend in the biggest tourist spot for Halloween. If you can’t handle the heat, get out of the kitchen or find a job where you don’t have to speak to people. We went to the downstairs bar and the girl was absolutely phenomenal! She was so nice, and so polite. After the cruise was over we spoke to one of the managers and he apologized for the bad service and told us that we were not the first people to complain about the two of them. I would love to come again, but can reassure you I will not if I know these two are working here. I’ve never been treated so poorly as a customer before at a bar!

Don’t fall for the «frequent cruiser» punch card. We love Mahi cruises so much we went 5 times last year. We were looking forward to using our punch card but guess what? You can’t use it when you buy tickets online and when you buy tickets in person you are risking the cruise will be sold out — especially a popular one — when you drive there to buy tickets.
Other than the flawed punch card system they have going, the cruises are awesome, well run and also well worth the money.

LOVE the mahi! Cocktails, music, sun, surf! What more can you ask for on a beautiful, sunny summer day?
Been on dozens of times with family and friends. It’s a great way to relax for an hour or two on the water. I’m lucky because it is right in my backyard.

This crew knew exactly where to go and anchor the boat to see the best firework display. We were right under the show.

We took the 90 minute tour on a Friday morning at 10:00. We were originally scheduled for Monday morning at 10:00 but they called to cancel because they didn’t have the minimum of 6 people to venture out. They called that Monday morning and was apologetic. The tour was a nice way to sit back and relax and learn some interesting facts about the Salem Sound, the surrounding Islands, and the lighthouses. This was a good choice and the price was right. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Picture this. You and your wife are taking your two year-​old toddler for her first-​ever boat cruise. Literally one minute in, said toddler decides she is terrified of boats. And is hysterical. There is still one hour and 14 minutes of the cruise to go.
Mahi Mahi staff stepped in to save the day and made the ride a memorable experience for me and my family (wife and newborn also in tow). The bartender whisked me and my daughter up to the cockpit where owner/​captain Will was waiting with an arsenal of ideas for calming her down. Not only that, but Will hands me a beer (on the house) and couldn’t have been kinder or less annoyed. We managed to calm my daughter down and she even spent a portion of the ride back with the rest of our friends.
Now I admit that, being preoccupied with the toddler crisis, I did not get to enjoy much of the scenery myself but the folks I was with did. The boat (we road the smaller of the two vessels) was clean and well-​run. The other patrons ranged from young to old, locals to tourists and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
At the end of the ride, Will declined a tip that I tried to provide. He would have none of that. What a super-​classy guy.
Will, thanks — you saved the day for us and we are grateful for how you run your business.

Great staff! This was a great last minute Memorial Day trip. We took the sunset cruise. Everyone on the boat was super friendly and laid back. The price was reasonable and the drinks were strong. I would definitely recommend.

Went on a cruise tonight and we really enjoyed it. Sat up top with the wind in our hair and cool breeze on our faces listening to haunted stories. It was a good time I recommend it the food is simple hotdogs and hamburgers but i think the ride alone is fun. Oh and grannys spiked apple cider is super yummy. The staff is great except there was a woman who had a bad attitude but other then that good time.

Sunset cruise is the perfect pre-​game for a Saturday night out in Salem!
We went with a group of 5 and got the group discount of $ 15/​adult. Usual price is $ 18, I think… We sailed on the 7 – 8:30pm Sunset Cruise around the Salem/​Marblehead harbor. Absolutley breathtaking views on a warm summer night. Drinks are reasonable at $ 5/​beer and $ 6/​cocktail.
I can’t wait to try the Thursday night cruise with live bands on board!

As a harbor cruise, my Haunted Tour was nice. The interior was warm and had a bar where I got spiked cider for $ 4. It was a nighttime tour so more folks were inside rather than outside, so seating in there was a bit limited.
We sat outside and it was lovely. Very nice views (if you ignore the power plants in the not-​too-​far distance) and wonderful for stargazing. Sipping my hot cider and staring at stars and boats passing by was very, very nice.
Other than the drink bar, there is a food bar. The line was extremely long and the one guy manning the counter and the grill seemed to need a little help. I stood in a non-​moving line for over 5 minutes with 4 people in front of me waiting to order and an additional 2 waiting for their food. I gave up and decided to get my cider from the much shorter and much faster moving drink line.
As far as the educational part of this tour, it was lacking. Our guide was so unfocused on her stories that it was just painful to listen to. She continued going off on tangents and even made some political jokes! I kept my thoughts to myself, but soon realized that we were not the only ones who felt this way, as many of the other patrons on the top deck with us were more vocal about how the guide’s story-​telling wasn’t very good! By the end of it, I felt that I’d learned nearly nothing.
It was a fun little experience and very accessible from the other parts of Salem. I doubt I’d do it again myself at risk that I get the same guide I got the first time, but it’s not a bad way to kill an hour and a half and $ 25, especially if the weather is nice!

Do not trust their posted schedule. Do not trust who you speak with over the phone to book a cruise. They will happily take your credit card number and tell you you are all set for a cruise that does not exist. Then after arranging for a babysitter for a birthday outing, you’ll find yourself turned away at the dock.

After numerous attempts to go on a sailing in the 7 years I have lived in Salem I finally got to go this past monday night. It was great. In the past cancellations of our reservations were due to weather (2 times) and forgetting there was a charter that night. It all worked out because I think my husband would have been miserable if he went– you never know what is going to happen on the boat and water.
The ship captain and the bar guy were both great. WE picked it up at salem willows for the sunset cruise, went over to pickering wharf to get more people went out to sea nad were back at the willows by 9pm. Great sunset, great drinks, great time. check it out! I am so wanting to go back out and do some of the other tours they do.

I love this cruise we took it for my job as a thank you present. I love the food even though it seemed to have taken forever. The food was great and very different. I enjoyed the whole cruise as well

. The tickets were half price, I think $ 9 each for a weekend evening cruise. I had never seen the little cruise boat before I saw it on buywithme, and I was excited to try it.
We went with a group of 6 on a Saturday night during the summer, and we had a blast. It was a nice night and we cruised around Salem and Marblehead for about 2 hours. The beer and drink selection onboard was excellent and priced very well. I can’t comment on the food as I didn’t try. The staff was great, and the dog on the boat was the icing on the cake!
I would definitely recommend for an afternoon or evening cruise, and I bet it would be a great place to have a private party!

Went on Saturday night w/​a group of friends and we all had a fantastic time! The night was gorgeous, the company was wonderful, the booze was flowing and the band (Hi8tus) was jamming. Friends of ours who recently moved to the area just kept saying things like, «This is why we live on the North Shore.»
The staff are great, relaxed and fun. The boat is clean and it’s a great way to show off our gorgeous coastline! Definitely will do it again.

A good way to enjoy an hour of a summer afternoon on the water. I had been on once last year and returned again for another cruise. Even though I had heard the script of the area once before, it was refreshing to hear it again. Mostly all the time you spend on the boat is with live narration of the Beverly, Marblehead and Salem coasts. Lots of interesting tidbits about famous people’s homes, the local lobster traps, small islands and wait lists to get moorings.
The crew that runs the boats is young and helpful on board. Didn’t have any of the food but the mixed drinks were poured strong at $ 6.
The boat is not very large, so seating is limited. I liked the front of the boat better. I had sat along the back the last time and I could smell the exhaust the whole time. Get there 20 minutes before it goes out so you can get in line for a good seat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise around the Beverly, Marblehead and Salem harbors. The 1.5 hour cruise that leaves from Salem Willows was delightful, and I learned quite a bit about what islands and land I am looking at when I stare out into the water.
It was a lot of fun, and they serve alcohol! Definitely would recommend this to everyone.
