History
Established in 2013.
Independent Luthiery was originally called Bombshell Guitar Repair and was my part time venture from 2001 – 2012. In 2013 I decided to leave my job at a large scale instrument manufacturer to focus on my own repair business. At that time I also started to offer custom instruments. While the Independent Luthiery name is new I have been involved in the stringed instrument industry since graduating the Roberto-Venn school of Luthiery in 1992.
