The Harp Connection is a national retailer of harps and harp accessories, serving the country from offices in Salem, Massachusetts.

Our store features harps by Lyon & Healy, Salvi, Dusty Strings and Triplett. Our showroom has a wide selection of concert grand pedal harps, semigrand pedal harps, petite pedal harps, classic lever harps and celtic lever harps for you to choose from.

We also have a large selection of sheet music, recordings, harp strings and other harp accessories. Our online store has complete information on all of our products.

History

Established in 1992.

The business was started in 1992 by harpist Karen Rokos and her husband Cameron Jones. We started out with a simple mission of providing a ready supply of lever harps to the professionals and teachers in the Boston area. Our commitment to prompt service and customer satisfaction yielded many repeat customers and our business has grown ever since.

Manager

Nicole Sterling joined The Harp Connection in 2004. As Vice President and Manager of Operations, Nicole is responsible for all aspects of the company’s operation.

From working with our harp manufactures to get the best instruments for our showroom to working with our customers to help them select the best harp for their needs, Nicole strives to keep The Harp Connection a well-​run small business that exceeds the expectations of every customer.

Aside from being the only harp showroom in a wide area, the Harp Connection shines in a lot of ways. In addition to having several harps in stock, they carry lots of accessories, sheet music and recorded music.
I purchased two harps from the Harp Connection — a Lyon & Healy Troubadour and a Lyon & Healy 85e. Going it to try out the harps was easy and with no pressure. I could take my time, play each harp I was interested in and ask a ton of questions.
Also, recently I asked about a pickup for the purposes of recording. The person who spoke to me (I’m sorry I forgot her name) asked me questions about my needs and then suggested a product that they did not actually carry (not a pickup, actually). That, to me, is a sign of real customer service. They really care about the needs of their customers.
Above selling harps and accessories, they also do harp service and regulation.
Highly recommended.
