History
Established in 2010.
Comida is the brainchild of Renny Waldron of Cambridge, who has several years’ experience managing restaurants around greater Boston. Waldron’s interest in Mexican food was sparked during the four years he spent working at Olé Mexican Grill in Cambridge. The restaurant business is familiar to the Waldron family, as Renny’s father used to work as a chef in New York City. The Waldron family has created Comida’s menu out of their combined taste for fine Mexican fare, and that of the many taquerias that dot Boston and Cambridge.
The Waldrons are proud of the result — a wide variety of inexpensive, creative dishes which can be purchased in a bright, colorful eatery decorated with authentic Mexican handcrafts and original art.
