We also offer wedding/​bridal services including hair and makeup, photography packages and boudoir photography.

History

Established in 1980.

Sheila Simone, salon owner, entrepreneur and beauty consultant for over 30 years, designed and created this gorgeous newly located salon. Ms. Simone’s philosophy is to merge the «cream of the crop» of Greater Salem area’s beauty experts — bringing together the most talented stylists, nail techs., estheticians and massage therapists all in one location.

I was really debating between ¾ stars, a 3.5 would have been my choice.
Okay, came here because my regular hair salon was closed Monday (last minute work schedule left my options slim for getting my hair done) so I looked up Unilocal reviews to see who was open on Monday with good reviews. This place seemed good!
Fast forward to sitting in the salon chair, spoke to the girl; my hair color was kinda all over the place so I told her I wanted to go back to my natural color, and then just blow dry it straight. Easy enough.
The outcome of the color was nice, it masked the color (s) I had in before, I was happy! Now the blowdry is where it kinda took a turn downhill. Disclaimer– I do have very long, thick, curly hair– but a blow dry should be a basic service hairdressers know, and I shouldn’t have had to straighten it myself the next morning after spending over $ 140 for a service & tip. It was frizzy, very thick and didn’t look very straight by the time I went to show my friends the new look. Little disappointing after sitting in the chair for 2 hours & it wasn’t entirely how I wanted.
I think the salon is inviting, very well decorated, and color-​wise she did a great job. I think women with thinner, more manageable hair would do great here, but unfortunately not for the women with thicker, longer hair.

After the wonderful experience with Shay for my wedding — I’ll never go anywhere else. Another fabulous experience today. They have become an Oribe exclusive salon. The products smell fabulous and work even better! My hair looks and feels amazing! The cut is exactly what I wanted. And the salon atmosphere is upscale, but never snooty. Its a wonderful experience every time!

This is my initial review for my extensions consultation.
The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I felt comfortable at this salon. The parking was easily accessibly and the place is easy to find.
I was bummed that they hadn’t heard of micro lock/​loop/​band extensions before as I read these are the latest trend in hair extensions. At first this made me a bit nervous that they were using older technologies. However, when I told them I had already ordered the hair extensions, they were very willing to reasearch the process and learn how to put them in for me. They quoted an initial flate rate, about 4hrs equivalent, and took my name and number to call me back once they had a better idea of what they were dealing with.
Can’t wait to see what they come back with and if I feel comfortable enough with them to experiment on me for the first time…

I love a good facial, its my one splurge that I dont mind treating myself to… and I have to admit I am picky as to how its done. I have had a lot of facials in the past, but none have been as relaxing as the ones I have received here. I have seen Colleen twice so far for two different facial packages and she is fantastic! Act II is a beautiful salon, and the skin care services are top notch.
Before my appointment last week I scheduled a Shellac manicure since my nails were looking rough. Perfect. My nail tech LaLa was so sweet and did a great job. She was meticulous in her work and it shows.
Helpful hint: No tipping on credit/​debit cards, bring cash!

I am back again with yet another glowing testimonial. I had my second Obagi radiance peel (will do the series of 4) and have to say I am THRILLED with the results. I began to peel on day 1 and it continued for 4 days; the peel was significant but I still looked socially acceptable (didn’t scare small children lol)… Now, my skin is definitely clearer and tighter. The result is better than I ever could have imagined.
