A & A Services

A&A recently did some work on our neighbor’s home that required the crew to be in our yard for several days. The job was messy and complicated. Each day at least one member of the crew checked in with us and made sure we didn’t have any complaints. They even repaired some trim on our porch (no charge, of course). A&A made every effort to ensure our space was clean and safe throughout construction. We may have been on the periphery of this project, but we certainly benefited from the work ethic of A&A Services this fall.

First let me say that I did not have any work done, however, I did meet with Ed B. from A & A to discuss roofing needs and siding needs. Ed arrived as scheduled to my home. He was AWESOME! He thoroughly checked out our roof our siding, trim, etc. Turns out we still have some life left in both. He was informative, honest, and a stand up guy. The two times I called the office to make/​change appointments the women I spoke to were pleasant, helpful and efficient. When the time comes to have the work done on my house, A & A will be who I call.

I’ve employed A&A services for several jobs now. I originally called in 2013 to ask for a quote for gutter installation but ended up having them reshingle the sidewalls of several dormers on my house. The carpenters that did the work were extremely professional and their attention to detail was impressive, right down to the fact that they cleaned up every scrap. The price was slightly higher than I expected, but the result was worth it.
This year I had A&A come back and (1) install some gutters around my house, (2) replace several walls worth of cedar shingles that had deteriorated around my garage, and (3) replace my garage roof.
Ed, the salesman I deal with, has always been very good about returning phone calls in a timely manner, explaining options for the work to be done or the materials that will be used, outlining the anticipated project schedule, and making sure that the guys doing the work have everything they need and that I am extremely satisfied with the results.
When the guys were doing my garage roof it was expected to rain and while they were unable finish the job before the rain started, they made sure that the roof was waterproof before they left for the day. When it came to the last day of the roof project it was expected to rain heavily later in the day but the crew showed up first thing in the morning to try and finish it before the rain. Unfortunately, it started when there was still about 4 hours of work left but they stuck it out and ended up completing the roof in the freezing rain. Several days later there was quite a bit of heavy rain and I was glad they’d pushed to finish it before the weather turned worse.
Of the half dozen crew members I’ve interacted with each has been courteous to my family and I, exhibited great attention to detail in their work, and gone out of their way to make sure the work they do is of the highest quality.
I will definitely continue doing business with them.

This company was great when they installed a roof vent and Sean responded instantly to my call when I had a followup question. I would definitely recommend them!

If you are driving and see their vans becareful! I put my blinker on to get into the right lane and there was more than enough distance for me to do so and the guy driving sped up. I had ro swerve back into my lane.
Really!!!

I would not do business with these guys — one of their trucks was tailgating me on North St — within sight of their shop, Blowing his horn, so I pulled over to let the idiot pass. We went different routes to the same location, and he ended up pulling out in behind me the final leg of my journey. He was in such a hurry, and I still ended up in front of him. Anyone looney enough to tailgate and carry on the way this guy was — does not get my business.

Made an appointment with them for replacement windows. They never showed up!
