Cute place, they seem to be trying, however the food was not that great, pancakes, home fries could have been cooked longer since they stilled tasted raw :(however the staff was very friendly and would give it another shot since the prices were very reasonable, five people for about 30 bucks.

Absolutely horrible food. The last time we came here, about 5 months ago, there was a guy that was cooking. He was fabulous. The young obviously inexperienced girl that is cooking now was extremely rude and CANTCOOK! I returned some of it TWICE! And it still wasn’t cooked. And I am not a picky person. Just wanted hot COOKED food in a timely manor. Which by the way it took way to long for mine and my husbands food to come out. They had two other tables. Absolutely will not be going back there!

Home fries weren’t cooked all the way and neither were the pancakes. Overall, not impressed.

Excellent breakfast and VERY reasonably priced. Accommodating to special requests and they have real maple syrup… just have to ask for it(no charge). Food came out in appropriate time and waitress was very pleasant. Will definitely eat here again when in town.

We came over to try Maple St Café on a Sunday from Bradford, about a 40 minute drive, only to find it closed with a hand written sign on the door that states their ‘new’ hours are until 2pm during the week and 1pm on Saturday and Sunday. Epic fail on their part, considering it was 12:45pm. Yet another poorly run establishment, probably wondering why they are failing. Such a disappointment.

Went here for a quick lunch with hubby today. It was good! Great service too! Cute & casual décor in old victorian style house. Only real issue I had with them is that they close at 1 pm! I had the lunch special of half a sandwich & cup of homemade potato soup. The lunch special was less than $ 6.00, so that is very reasonable. The soup was excellent & she let me substitute a wrap for a sandwich, so I got the turkey wrap which was very good too. Hubby got the same soup & and BLT sandwich. He liked his too. Just a note — while we did not order any breakfast items, they do have a breakfast menu also. We will definitely go back again if we can get there before 1 pm!

Fabulous new spot to grab breakfast or lunch. Conveniently located near Allegany State Park, I had the opportunity to stop twice during a recent stay in the park. Maple Street Café is right in the heart of Salamanca and while rather inconspicuous, it’s homey and welcoming inside. Allison, our waitress both days, displayed exceptional customer service and the cook produced some exemplary dishes. The first morning I had the breakfast bowl — potatoes, eggs, bacon, cheese — yum. The second morning I had a three egg omelette with bacon, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, onion, peppers, etc. Equally as appetizing and filling. Whether you’re staying in the park, a resident of Salamanca, or just passing through, stop by Maple Street Café(located just behind the Wildwood) for a delectible, fresh, and inexpensive breakfast. I hope to go back in the near future to grab lunch. Bravo and best wishes for continued success!
