St. Charles Community College, located in the heart of St. Charles County, is easily accessible from I-​70 and Hwy. 94 and via the Page Extension, is just a 15-​minute drive from St. Louis County. Established in 1986, the college already has 7,000 credit students and more than 30,000 non-​credit students. In its fourth expansion, SCC has won several awards for its innovative architecture and campus plan.

One in four high school seniors in St. Charles County choose SCC as a smart start to their college education. For older adults, SCC offers Returning Learner Workshops to promote their success as they seek to upgrade their skills. SCC’s Workforce Development Department benefits local companies by helping employers qualify for state training funds and providing customized training solutions. The college also serves as a key cultural arts center for the county, offering plays, musicals, art exhibitions, concerts, and community events, many of which are provided at low cost or free.

This is by far the worst experience in trying to enroll a family member in a class for summer. We had tried to view online several times but had a lot of questions and felt it may be better to go in person. The woman sitting in front at registrar office was arrogant, condescending and not helpful. Had her on two separate visits. Thanks to her and her nasty attitude we chose a different school not really caring at that point we were paying more for the class. She really needs to be either retrained or moved to an area of school away from possible new students and not mingling with the general population on campus. Students equal employment as far as I’m concerned and with her running the desk I wonder how many others her bitchy attitude has chased off. I guess if we had a full time student there we would have been treated differently.

What a useless staff in admissions. Went there 2 weeks ago and the lady in admissions that is a frustrated hippie was about as snotty and rude as can be. I was to the point of wondering WHO is in charge of staff. She needs to get fired as poor as she is and replaced with someone who wants and values a job. It requires not much more skill than asking if I want to supersize my McD’s order and at least at McD’s they are polite and have manners!
It is a wonder no one has yelled at her with attitude!
But maybe someone has and it just has not sunk in through her rock thick skull. What a waste of oxygen she is.
I saw her and others in the admissions office act as if the students were a hinderance instead of the exact reason the staff HAS jobs!
Looks like I will just skip taking classes here if this is how staff acts!

I go here a lot to use their softball field, soccer field, and volleyball court. All kept top notch and wonderful! I have never been hassled for using anything, but I also help keep good care of it, and repair any wear/​damage I make before I leave. Love it!

This is one of the best parts of St. Charles County. The school is a gem and pricing is low and ridiculously reasonable.
I definitely recommend checking out their performing arts programs. This is where I got my start and I cannot think of a better place to be. The music program is especially wonderful.

this is where i currently attend and i’ll tell you… its a pretty good school. friendly teachers that want to help you out %100, plus there is so much free stuff to students availible such as counseling, computer labs, a gym etc. great place to go!

This is where i got my AA in Spanish about forever ago. I really liked the teachers, the administrative staff was always helpful and well informed and they had a lot of great resources… a career room, for example, where you can take this little quizzes that try to pin-​point your strengths, weaknesses and passions and then a catalog of jobs you could possibly have. i wrote and edited the school paper before it was important and was there before it had the kind of attendance it has now. Attendance which must be epic, by the way, by the number of brand-​spanking new buildings they’ve constructed… i counted 6 just in passing from the road.
…an overall great choice for a junior college.
