Found this AMAZING restaurant via iPhone map app. I always try to find restaurants in the area I’m traveling that are one of a kind, something different from the many many franchise choices around in any city. This hidden gem did not disappoint. Went for breakfast two days in a row and each time is was FANTASTIC! The food was to die for and the service is top notch. I’m a firm believer in treating people the way I want to be treated and it hasn’t failed me yet. The older waitress with an English accent is super super nice and always there for anything you may need. This is definitely a place my family will frequent anytime we are in the area!

Oh my gosh!!! So glad we found this little gem in St Pete! Best British breakfast spot! Highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by here on your way to the beach! Probably some of the best pancakes we’ve had in a long time and the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had, hands down! Overall a wonderful experience and great service! Can’t wait to come back every time we go to St Pete beach!

I’m only giving a three because the server was so friendly(otherwise it would get a 2). We came in at about 12:20 on a Sunday. They told us they were not serving breakfast which was a bummer but we said ok. We watched two other couples leave when they were told that. For a place that specializes in breakfast they should serve it all day or at least later on weekends. The table next to us did get breakfast so they must have just stopped at 12. B/f went with something easy — club sandwich — and said it was ok. I tried the grouper sandwich — what a mistake. Could smell that fishy smell the minute it came out of the kitchen — which took a long time. My fishy smelling sandwich was SO hot — it burned my mouth the entire time it took me to eat it. It didn’t taste deep fried(maybe it would have been better if it was) but the temperature made me feel like it was. It never cooled off — weird. I would not go back here except maybe to try breakfast someday.

Stopped in for takeout, service was fast and pleasant. The price was good for the area. Burger was cooked to order and seasoned well, portions were large. All in all, a decent place. I will return.

We walked here from our hotel on the beach to have breakfast. We got there around 8 in the morning, when they opened, and were the only people there for a while. We were greeted and seated immeditely. The waitress was kind and got us our drinks quickly. There were a good varuety of items to choose from on the menu. I ordered the full order of buscuits and gravy. The full order was two buscuits which I thought wouldnt be filling, but I was wrong. I think I definitely chose the best breakfast item! The buscuits were tasty, a little harder than I typically like them to be, but the gravy was amazing! Tons of meat and so delcious. The waitress was very attentive(well, we were the only ones there) and friendly. Overall, the place was clean, the service was good and the food was delcious. Good experience overall!

Great for a date and for a family outing. Very underrated kitchen with a friendly staff. If you like un-breaded crab cakes this is your place.

Really liked this restaurant when it was on Cory Av. under a different name. Glad we rediscovered it. My FAV are poached eggs with Cumberland sausage. Very nice servers. Reasonable prices and nice décor.

We just came into town and this was the closest place to our hotel with decent ratings. This place was a big disappointment for dinner. I have three little ones and ordered cheeseburgers from the kids menu. They were basically sliders charged at $ 5 a piece. Left my 8 year old starving. And my Ruben sandwich was good. The waiter was our biggest complaint. Not really rude but gave us that kind of service that lets you know your not welcome. She did not tell us about the specials nor was she attentive. Came back at the end of our meal to ask if we needed anything. Overall food was good but service left much to be desired. Will not be returning this vacation.

This little restaurant was the highlight of our weekend in St. Pete beach. Blink and you might pass by, but make the effort to have breakfast here. The staff was peasant and attentive, interior is clean, bright and beachy with a turtle motif. menu had wide assortment and coffee was great. I had the traditional eggs beni, eggs were perfectly cooked, hollandaise was not overly lemony or buttery, just right. The hash is homemade and not your usual canned ****. It was chunks of potato, corned beef and onions and not overly salted. Probably the best I have ever had. Prices were the most reasonable of any place I ate in SPB. If you are tired of the over rated, overpriced places in SPB seek this little place out. ~PH

We stopped here on our way back to Tampa and it was a PERFECT way to wrap up a mini vaca. The décor was beachy, old school Florida vibe with lots of booths, tvs and turtle art work {of course}. An obvious regular sitting at the bar eating, and most tables full. Clean and bright. Robbin, our waitress, was very pleasant & helpful with recommendations — scotch eggs, hash & eggs & sausage Eggs Benedict… We are now fat & happy and ready for a nap! I highly recommend a stop for breakfast… We’ll try lunch on our next visit to St Pete Beach — soon. Wish we’d saved room for the sea salt carmel cheesecake. Again, next time.

Folks you must try this place! I do not rewrite many reviews, but the food here is very good and fresh! The Corned Beef Hash is homemade! Fabulous! The Ruben’s amazing! Biscuits & Gravy, very good! Coffee excellent. They are open for all 3 squares a day. Right across from the beautiful beach. Now, if you are in a hurry, better be patient. They make the food as ordered. The service is excellent! Prices are in the middle, but portions are«Huge» and food is very good. Try it! You will not be disappointed.

A very quaint breakfast and lunch spot by the beach. I had the soup of the day and sandwich — tomato basil soup and the grouper sandwich. The portions are just right! I hate having an overwhelming amount of leftovers to squeeze into a to go box at the end of a meal. But the amount of food had me perfectly full and satisfied. The fish was very fresh and well seasoned! I loved all the spices they marinated it in. The soup was great as well!

An amazing new little place across from the beach with some of the best breakfast around! Highly recommend the hash n eggs and the Scotch egg. The corned beef is made in house and I’m not exactly sure how the chef prepared the eggs over medium, but they were definitely cooked in bacon fat and the best I’ve ever had. My fiancé and I each got an order of hash n eggs, and shared the Scotch egg. We had enough leftover hash for breakfast the next morning. Our server was friendly and attentively, and kept my coffee filled. I’m so happy I live within walking distance so I can come back often!

I showed up about 20 minutes into their first official opening day, June 24 ’15. It was a little warm but there was an A/C van outside so I assume they are well aware of that and are working on the issue. No problems since that date. First, the only bad news; if you know this restaurant’s owners or their previous Madeleina Cottage Restaurant that was closed to move here, unlike that restaurant, this one will not have a full liquor bar due to the size of the establishment. It will have beer and wine service, just no booze. :-( The good news, breakfast was great. I had the smoked salmon and scrambled egg breakfast and got my daughter the $ 4.50 kids meal which includes eggs, pancake and bacon. Had no idea what to expect given I showed up in the morning of their first day open, but everything was fine. I posted a picture of their breakfast menu so you’ll have an idea of what to expect. They are not open on Mondays, every other day is 8am to 9pm. The owners are from the UK(but live locally in St Pete Beach now) and the menu has many traditional British items you won’t find elsewhere on the beach. My two favorite items from the dinner menu are the absolutely fantastic chicken curry and the«our signature dish» which is a chicken dish with a very good cream sauce. Other notables are the roast beef & yorkshire pudding and the shepherds pie. Seating arrangements are a bunch of four top booths, a few tables, and there is a bar(just no liquor). The inside of the restaurant carries on the sea life theme with turtles and other marine animals on the walls and even the ceiling. The restaurant is in a bright blue building on the corner of Gulf Blvd and 46th Ave right across from the Mobil gas station. If you are having dinner here and want to do some drinking and partying afterward, no problem, Drunken Clam is a dive bar located about 20 steps around the side of the building. You’ll get a definite local experience there lol. They’re in easy walking distance from most of the south and central hotels, or, if you’re not within walking distance, there is a free taxi service on the beach called Free Beach Ride that you can use to get here easily from anywhere on St Pete Beach; just give a tip of a few dollars.
