Pioneer Endicott

The highs and lows of staying at Pioneer Endicott first is the location walking distance and public transportation great. But parking in the garage not so great. It is small and if you have a average size vehicle to large vehicle pain in the butt to drive in, the garage is narrow.
The place has no restrictions on breeds so you see small breeds all the way up to large and aggressive breeds pitbulls are in the building. They have a place on the outside where your pets are allowed to the use the bathroom it’s like a big cat liter box it’s disgusting and you can smell it before you even get near it. Because of the large building you can hear people and dogs on the first floor it echos throughout the whole building. Kids running up and down the hallways no respect for other tenants.
Hardwood floors are in the apartments not the best looking in some areas. Because of hardwood floors you get to hear your neighbors walk across the floor from above as well as beside of you. If they have dogs you can hear when the dogs are playing and sliding along the floor.
Receiving packages they have a service where they will email you that your package has arrived and it gives you a code that your enter for this large locker with multiple compartments. And that is great unless your package is stored in the one compartment that is the largest which allows for several packages to be stored in. You could be looking for your package for a while especially if it is buried on the very bottom.
The elevators chime everytime the door opens so that can be a bit annoying especially on the weekends and late at night. It sounds like a microwave timer going off every 15 seconds. They have a wine, spirt and beer store in the building pricey not a lot of different choices. The chocolate place the pastries are dry. Not worth the calories.
The leasing office very helpful the place stays clean. The liter box outside nasty.
Gyn new and large, social lounge stays social.

It’s taken a really long time, but things have been turning around.
This place is beautiful and I loved the hardwood floors, breakfast bar, and huge bathroom and shower. It was a super big bummer that the windows didn’t open.

The Pioneer Endicott is a ghost in a neighborhood that feels considerably empty most of the time. There are good places and good selection in nooks and crannies, but hidden away, often not listed on search sites.
The building doesn’t have a finished entryway, and except for routine fitness room and a small pooch porch, none of the listed building amenities exist.
There’s also a reason why the Apt rooms aren’t shown in online pics. The washer and dryer are in front of a fake doorway for the closet, facing into the bedroom. No door. Blinking lights for the wacky flood warning monitor. The dishwasher, fridge, and kitchen sink basin are deplorably cheap. The parking situation is unbearable. It is parking in a garage further up the block on Jackson.
The leasing agent hasn’t had any move-​in flaws fixed: broken double door mechanism, broken shade molding, broken top shelf of dishwasher. However, security and routine staff care is amazing. We wish our feedback was better since the leasing staff were great during that process (we leased based on calls and websites before moving here) and were invaluably helpful with our movers.
We understand this building is top rent for St. Paul rates, so we would feel badly if we didn’t share our feedback. Overall, we like the space, but like I said, only the fitness room is complete, the entry area isn’t even functional and for the rent, I shouldn’t have to jerry-​rig a curtain up to shade my bedroom eyes from the washer reflection and various red lights. the entry way for the utility area was clearly designed to have a door, even if it’s just one of those accordian style doors that don’t need space to open forward or backward.
For your designer rent you can also look forward to meeting any guest, delivery person, or utility provider on the ground floor, as there’s no door person and there’s no intercom or call box of any kind.
