History

Established in 1990.

Irish on Grand is the only Irish store in the Twin Cities and the shop itself is located in a converted three storey residential house that retains all the old charm of polished wood and stained glass. It is ideally situated on Grand Avenue, known as the «Jewel in the Crown of St. Paul» — a wonderful area with great restaurants and shops, especially the smaller unique type of store. The front of the store is beautifully landscaped with gardens, stone benches and a very large, carved harp as the focal point!

Business Owner

Maeve O’Mara was born in Dublin, Ireland and raised in Crosshaven in Co. Cork. She moved to Minnesota in 1986. She and her husband Liam O’Neill, from Cork City, became the proud owners of Irish on Grand in 2003 when her brother and sister-​in-​law decided to move back to Ireland.
