Hilton Garden Inn

This Hilton Garden Inn has not been updated in many years. It is clean, however, the room smells musty and a little like smoke. The window does open and has a screen, so I have left it open since I checked in. The bed is comfortable and wifi works well. I am only giving this hotel two stars because of the lack of renovations.

Stay away unless you like the sound of a base drum every time someone walks around on the floors above you.
Hilton was ripped off by who ever built this place. The walls and floors are almost paper thin. No where near the quality I would expect from any Hilton property.

For $ 180 a night, you get: an outdated room, a very temperamental thermostat, a small, dirty pool, and to top it all off– no complimentary breakfast. I expected at least a breakfast with the room, but it turns out it’s another $ 10 a person. Don’t stay here unless you are rolling in cash or have no other options.

Stay here alot. Ronnie and Jason are great and have helped me get around more than once. Hotel clean and restaurant is good too. Good spot. Shuttle to airport and mall of America too…

«Thin Walls» I booked a rm for two nights and the first night was fine. The next night there were a group of four individuals partying in the rm next to us. Speaking very loud and yelling. They even had a dog in the rm barking occasionally. We complained to the front desk around 11p because we had to get up very early the next morning for a weeding. The lady at the front desk said she would send security. 5 min later security knocked on their door and told them to keep it down and they almost were shocked that they were being loud. As soon as security left they started cussing and making fun of the security guard and said that they would kick his @$$. They actually got louder after that and the front desk called up to ask if the noise was taken care of? I told her that it got worse now and that they also had a dog barking in the rm. She said she would call the cops, but 20 min passed before they showed and spoke with them next door. After the cops left. They waited 30 minutes and again started their loud conversations. This was around midnight now. We called the front desk and asked to be moved to another rm, but they were all booked. So we told her we were checking out and not paying for the rm. and wanted to be booked nearby at another Hilton property. She agreed and they paid for us to stay at another hotel. I give them 3 stars bc it was a bad experience and a frequent Hilton customer had to checkout at midnight. They should have evicted the noise makers. Instead we will never stay at this hotel again. Walls are very thin and u can tell its not a Hilton Garden inn built from ground up. It was converted from what looks like it was a Hampton. The breakfast area is small and while it was ok, not up to Hilton garden inn standards. I’ve stayed at plenty. Needless to say I would not recommend this hotel. Makes the Hilton name brand look bad. And the night staff wear some sloppy looking regular shirts like they just rolled out of bed. Better management on night shift required.

The receptionist was a total beeotch. Very unhelpful and rude!!! Cancelling my reservation.
Do not stay here.

Surprising for a HGI. Breakfast was horrible.
