White Castle

Going to St. Louis is always fun to see concerts. The venues are nicer than Chicago and the concert-​goers aren’t piss drunk like they tend to be here. Helps that mom lives in St. L so there’s always an excuse to visit.
There aren’t as many late-​night dining options in St. Louis compared to Chicago. So… after seeing a concert at the Pageant, Blueberry Hill, or Cicero’s, what better place to satisfy late night munchies than at White Castle?
I think it was after a Jackopierce acoustic set in the basement of Blueberry Hill a couple of years ago that we went to White Castle post-​show for a gluttonous amount of Slyders. This was accompanied by a jug of Johnny Walker red, various hot sauces and condiments and a great big mess in the morning. Mom, doing her best Fred Willard impersonation upon entering the kitchen in the morning, exclaimed «wha’ happen’d???»
