This is a great place to pick up some supplements and protein powder. The best thing about this place is that I found my favorite protein powder here for the same price I have been finding them online without the 2-​day shipping delay. They also have the occasional deals on certain products.
The staff are helpful but aren’t pushy. Usually they will greet you as you come in and ask if you need help, then they leave you alone to browse. They have some energy drinks I couldn’t find elsewhere. I usually come out with something new to try (mostly some sort of coffee/​energy drink) along with my usual.

The fat and the alcohol are in a constant battle for who will consume my liver first, and somehow overspending on unregulated supplements that I’ll probably never actually take gives my liver just enough hope to survive another day.

It is getting cold in the Lou and my joints are perturbed by the weather change (running when its cold doesn’t help). I happened to be on the way to another establishment I frequent when I saw this place. I order from Vitamin Shoppe on-​line a lot, so I was pleased to see the new sign so I quickly made a U-​turn (because that is so easy to do on Hanley Road).
You are never hustled (like some stores that sling supplements and weight loss potions) and always treated with respect and warmth. They never tried to push product on me and Debbie was really nice and took the time to show me where the item I was looking for was yet I still enjoyed browsing around the store.
Vitamin Shoppe is a cool health and wellness addition to Hanley Rd, which now is like a big box store/​home repair strip. Love, light, health and happiness All! If you’ve done your research and know (somewhat) what you want, and want a good deal, Vitamin Shoppe is the way to go.
