So, this review is LOOOOONNNNGGGGGG overdue, but whatevs. Back in February, I noticed that I was a bit pale. Oh, and my doctor also recommended that tanning might provide Vitamin D for my deficiency. So, with that in mind, I sought out a cheap tanning place to add to my natural color — I didn’t find it. However, I did find a moderately-priced place with super friendly staff that always complimented my curls and remembered my name! BONUS! I gave this place three stars because honestly, the quality is pretty good in comparison to some closer places, but not as good, or cheap, as other places my mother used to visit in the County. I signed up for a two or three-month deal in which I could tan up to seven times a week throughout the month for roughly $ 56. That’s kind of steep. Obviously, I’m not trying to kill myself by tanning every day, but I understand that some people do. The beds are usually pretty clean, but not always. There were times that I walked in, and there were smudge marks, or leftover hairs from the previous tanner … nasty. Also, half the time, the radios didn’t work, or were extremely low-quality. I wasn’t into it. If I’m going to be «chillin’ in my Beemer listenin’ to «‘Ether,“‘ then I need good quality. If you didn’t get that reference, it’s all hood … literally. Anywho, this place isn’t bad. It’s just a bit expensive.

The tanning beds are great and I used to be a member for two years until I decied to not give skin cancer a chance. I liked the Mystic tan and their number 3 bed so while I was tanning this was a decent place. Beware of a hefty price tag, though and staff that doesn’t really care too much.

This place isn’t the cheapest tanning place I’ve been, but it’s quality. They have a huge selection of beds(40+) and I’ve had a great experience so far with the Level 4 beds. The staff is crazy friendly, and it’s pretty clean. My only suggestion would be more options for buying packages instead of memberships. The price difference is pretty high, and makes it hard to turn down the membership.

The tan co definitely has great beds and lotions but the staff was never friendly when I visited this particular location. It’s been a few years, so I am sure there is new staff but the best location was in Webster Groves on Laclede Station Rd. They were ALWAYS very friendly.

This place is awesome. When I was prepping for a Florida vacation, I checked out a couple local tanning salons before selecting this one for my pre-trip tan. The facility is extremely clean and the staff is friendly and professional. My trip was over a year ago and I still visit Tan Co. it helps keep my tan dark and I feel like I just got back from the beach. I also, like their Mystic Tan, it covers the body well and does not look like some lower quality spray tans. I’m a big fan!!!
