Description

Specialties

Located in the historic Chase Park Plaza anchored in the vibrant Central West End, the venue combines cozy/chic design elements with urban vintage charm, all in a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere. The Preston was designed to offer a vibrant, compelling dining experience by catering to the epicurean in all of us. Every aspect of The Preston has been carefully examined and designed to bring that ambition to life. Executive Sous Chef, Bryan Byard, and his team of culinary artists channeled their voluminous expertise into an eclectic menu offering, creating their own version of Contemporary American cuisine. The pricing and portions are designed to encourage the guests to order multiple dishes, providing an opportunity to share. In the spirit of a contemporary American restaurant, acclaimed cocktail savants and beverage directors Sasha Alms and Joshua Johnson compiled their knowledge, rendering a menu consisting of classic and contemporary cocktail variations, along with a curated wine list and an intriguing beer selection. We look forward to you dining with us.

History

Established in 2016.

The Chase Park Plaza’s new restaurant, The Preston is named appropriately after the building’s original creator, Preston J Bradshaw. Mr. Bradshaw was the original architect of the The Chase Hotel, which was completed back in 1922. It was a natural fit to name our newest venture after the man that gave us such great bones to work with. The purpose was to evoke the past while also embracing the future of fine dining. It was said Bradshaw was a stickler for the details, which is a personality trait, held in common with our staff and chefs. We strive to serve locally sourced, inventive plates in a beautiful comfortable space that will entice you to stay a while. The restaurant will feature an eclectic collection of shareable dishes to satisfy any palate. Our delectable desserts, signature hand crafted cocktails and a comprehensive wine list were specifically created to complement the menu.
