During your tour, you’ll visit some of the city’s finest breweries and get an inside look at their operations. You’ll taste their brews and learn all about the brewing process along the way.

When Lindsey Schaefer moved back to St. Louis from Louisiana, she immediately noticed the growth in area microbreweries and the marked increase in craft beer on store shelves. As an avid homebrewer and craft-​beer devotee, she enjoyed meeting others that were interested in sharing their art.

«I have always been drawn to the culture [craft beer] creates,» says Schaefer. «People in this industry love sharing their ‘art’ with others. We love to talk about it and bring others into our world to experience beer the way we do.»

That’s why she created STL Brewery Hop, a transportation service that specializes in the craft beer that sets St. Louis apart from the rest. The Hop tour will transport up to 20 guests by bus to a variety of breweries around town, where each person will receive a mini-​tour of the brewery and a 5– to– 7-​ounce sample pour in their STL Brewery Hop tasting glass.

Homebrewer and lover of craft beer, Lindsey opened STL Brewery Hop in 2013 with hopes of spreading the love of good local beer to the people of STL.

Says Lindsey, «I really want beer lovers from all over the country to look at St. Louis as somewhere to visit for their breweries. I have so much respect for the passion that these breweries are putting into their craft, and I want to showcase that to St. Louisians and tourists alike.»
