Biergarten At Anheuser-Busch

Went for brunch earlier today since I had just heard they did Sunday brunch. Well they don’t anymore. #brunchfail Guess we will stick to beers and burgers but some other time. Space is cool. Menu looks good. They cover the garten area w tent in fall thru winter which is nice.

After a fun little tour of the Anheuser-​Busch Brewery, there’s nothing like being able to actually drink the brewery’s beer in a outdoor beer garden. I honestly can’t contribute much here seeing as I got a free beer with my free tour, didn’t order any food, and came here with a wonderful group of people on a particularly lovely sunny day. So yeah, I had a good time. I wouldn’t necessarily trek all the way here for the beer garden alone (the smell of their hops is another story), but if you’re here for the tour, it only makes sense to grab a beer and enjoy some sun, if any.

What’s not to like. Take some time strolling around no less than 3 historical landmarks, listening to some important non-​political history about a pastime nearly every one can agree upon. Then enjoy a complimentary adult beverage for your efforts and select a meal based upon pairing suggestions from the experts themselves. I highly recommend the beer brat sandwich!

I love most beers so that’s easy. Food is where there’s some concern.
Beer cheese is tasteless. Burgers are really good.
Service is good as well.
But those were by far the worst Ribs I’ve Ever Eaten in my life.
Note to chef. Take the ribs off the menu!!!

A free tour including a sample of the freshest bud light and a drink of your choice at the bar? How can you beat this!
If you’re in St. Louis, this is a must-​come and see!
I enjoyed the tour that brought us through different places to see the steps of the brewing process. The tour guides were excellent and enthusiastic about beer making. It was also nice to get a glimpse of the history of brewing in the United Stated and to learn more about prohibition and how A-​B survived the era.
We ended the tour in the bar and I ordered a faust, some beer I have never heard of. As it was only 9:30 am, I should have ordered something lighter but I still enjoyed the drink. Next time, I will come later in the afternoon or day. Definitely come check this place out!!!

Recently stopped in for a tour with a group of friends on a Sunday afternoon. The tour was fine, nothing extraordinary but I really liked the new biergarten that was the last stop on the tour. It is such an improvement from the old tasting room that you used to end in.
The outdoor space is nice. There is plenty of shade for those who want shade and plenty of sun for those who want sun. We didn’t eat but of the beer selection is decent (as it should be) and it is clean and new and the service seemed find. Nice new addition to the brewery!

Food is solid considering it’s pretty standard bar fare with the random creative dish. The service is pretty spotty and all over the place. The outside/​inside atmosphere is pretty fun and a good option for large groups and visitors from out of town. I lean towards craft breweries/​beer gardens, but the St. Louis history gives this place the benefit of the doubt.

Great atmosphere here. Many types of Anhueiser-​Busch beers to try. Small menu but the food looked great.
Comfortable outdoor seating and even a giant connect four game to entertain the kids.
Friendly wait staff. Perfect end for your tour.

It could have been better but we hit all kinds of road blocks. We showed up in Fathers Day, and someone opened up the outside area when it was supposed to be closed. Understaffed for the extra people. New people in the kitchen. We waited over an hour for our food and my burger, supposed to be done well, was not done so. A few at our table were the same way. Waitress was nice and very apologetic.
Update: when burger was redone and came back out, great. Would still come back and try again

After a sub-​par tour compared to the one’s AB used to give prior to the In-​Bev takeover, we decided to grab a quick lunch in the Biergarten. Bad idea.
Our server took orders for our party of six: 2 burgers, 2 brats, 2 chicken sandwiches. Long story short, we asked her if our food might be coming soon after having waited for 65 minutes. She responded, unapologetically, that they were serving 500 seats with a kithen that was «no bigger than the one you have at home».
After another 20 minutes, our food finally arrived. It wasn’t even good. The buns were better than the meats. The whole time we were there, as all the tables around us would vacate, they would put reserved signs on them and not seat them. Eventually, we were on a deserted island all by ourselves. Two other servers would point at us and talk about us as if to say «get up, we need that table». So uncomfortable.
This place was truly terrible. Stay away.

You know what sucks? The 2 stars is for off and on spotty service and off and on menu service. You’re a tourist attraction you have a menu so if you want to be a restaurant be a restaurant. If you don’t then just serve your beer and reduce your summer patronage. Problem is AB decides at last minute oh we’re only serving 3 items on our menu one visit, another visit just buffet only, closed for something, another visit. Best visit was my first one last summer. I’ve been here several times and had many things on the menu of which ALL ARE GREAT! Why do I go, I love the atmosphere, food when served, and location. I always want to go here but the last 4 or 5 times I’ve been disappointed by horrible service on a Wednesday, or lack of a menu on a Friday after 4:30 and Sundays. Why do I love to hate it? Poor planning and lack of caring for the loyal fans. When you limit the menu your service tends to suck and the food sucks with it. When you limit it, food comes out cold and not tasty. Sliders not good and plain. Ribs nah not for me. Fries nonexistent and or cold. When you act like the restaurant beirgarten you want us to love, you are fabulous with great prices. No food over $ 10 basically
What I love to eat here:
* Flash fried Bavarian Pretzel Sticks (get them every time)
* Biergarten Burger medium … just a good olé burger
* Bevo Pork sandwich divine
* Peppered Steak Sandwich way better than expected and buttery
* Ballpark hotdog meal for $ 5 shut the front door and yummy like at the park
* Brat had better skip it
* Campfire brownie… great but small like really great
I really want to love you but right now I’m pissed. Just be one or the other… so frustrated I cant even write a great review.
And INSTALL A PHONE OUTSIDE! Seriously, you just don’t answer a business phone if the weather is bad? There’s outside quality phones I’m sure or hey call forwarding or something. It’s 2015 for God sakes.

The food is delicious, but the desserts are ridiculous. $ 4 for a little piece of brownie

It seems that Anheuser-​Busch makes the tour experience a little different every year. When I visited AB recently, I was surprised to see the new, beautiful, spacious biergarten.
REGARDING THE BEER TOUR… Nothing beats free beer, and a free tour, so I really can’t complain. However, unfortunately, the full AB tour was cut shorter than I previously experienced in prior years. We were once given a tour of the packaging facility, but that is now reserved for those willing to pay a fee. The tour guides don’t see to be as chipper as they used to be either… each stop of the tour was highlighted with the same monotone voice from a tour guide who sounded like they were annoyed and inconvenienced to be working there. Last year, AB provided each guest with two beers at the end of the tour, but they changed this as well. Halfway through the tour, they give you a small cup of beer, followed by a full pint at the end. This is where they lead you out to the Biergarten for your free beer, and if you’re inclined, you can go ahead and purchase additional beer. I think this is a good marketing tactic — now they’re making a profit off of visitors who otherwise might have only taken the free beer then left.

My honey and I had a tour at 2:30pm so we needed something to eat quickly. We stopped at the beer garden and ordered pretzel bites and a hotdog. Let me just say the pretzels are soft, fresh and just perfectly fluffy inside. The cheese dip was a nice touch. The hotdog was plump and grilled just right and complimented well with the Parmesan garlic fries. We basically shoved the food down our throats to not miss our tour lol. Everything was great and we revisited after the tour to get our free beers:) I picked the micholob golden light while he chose the black crown. I would’ve liked if there was more seating since there was a tour about every thirty minutes so it was pretty packed.

If you finished taking the Budweiser Brewery Tour, there’s a good chance you will be left at the Biergarten to use your last token for a free beer. They do have some great beers on draught to choose from — – and not just AB brands. InBev brings brands like Stella Artois, Rolling Rock and Goose Island to the table just to name several.
My wife and I sat down to enjoy the last cold one and were a bit hungry. One of the waitresses came over and offered us menus. And so the story ends there. I suppose we were supposed to walk over to the kitchen and place orders ourselves. They obviously don’t pay their staff too much because they were all gathered at the hostess podium having a good time. Oh well, their loss. We drove over to Bar Louies and had lunch there.

What a cool place. In town for business but decided to stop here for some local sightseeing. I’m not a huge bud drinker but this place was just cool period. We ordered a few flights and hung out. Really large open space with plenty of seating. Yes I realize having a flight of domestic beers isn’t all that exciting but the whole experience was cool altogether. The gift shop had some really cool bud items and everything was reasonably priced too. Glad we came.

A fantastic day for this. They were so slammed though that they closed the kitchen till 5pm or later and all the tours were booked. That is crazy. Other then that the venue is fantastic and very pretty.

What a cool patio! Love this place, they are an official viewing place for FIFA and they have live music on Saturdays!
What more reason do you need? Well the service was pretty darn good and while I personally did not eat, the wings look good and the menu looks very interesting.

During our trip to St. Louis, we wanted to go on at least one brewery tour. Although I really do not care for beers that originated with Anheuser Busch (they’ve bought out a lot of good craft beers), there is no denying their history and impact on the beer industry. Therefore, we decided that for this trip, this would be the facility toured. We are glad we made this decision. It was an excellent tour that ended with a free beer for each individual on the tour in their Biergarten.
The Biergarten had a really cool ambiance to it. It was an outdoor facility that had plenty of seating to accommodate the immense amount of people coming through, televisions to watch sports (the Blues were playing a playoff game in which they won; crowd went wild), a band playing, large plants, and a lot of red, white, and black décor; the colors often seen with Anheuser Busch.
We first stood in line for our beers and they had a good selection of beers on tap, including several craft beers that they had bought out. I had a Hoegaarden which is a pretty good beer for relaxing. They were also serving Lime-​a-​Ritas and Stawberritas for those who aren’t beer fans, or sodas for those who don’t like any of those options.
We then made our way to couch seating at the corner of the facility and had quick and friendly service. We decided to try the wings and the pretzels to tide us over until our dinner later that evening. The wings were good and the pretzels were excellent. You could taste the presence of Anheuser Busch products in the sauces utilized in both of these appetizers. Prices were exceptionally reasonable too.
This is definitely a great spot to check out if you are visiting the St. Louis area, or if you live here and are looking to spend an evening at a place with an awesome vibe. I strongly recommend this place!
