Showroom Shine Express Detailing

I took my car here, after my Groupon had expired for a $ 200 premium detail. Instead I got $ 100 of credit towards another service per Groupon rules. I told them what I wanted, a premium detail. They had a special going for their premium detail. It was supposed to be $ 175. I thought, «Awesome, at least I only have to pay $ 75 today.»
I left and they called back a few hours later to tell me it was done. I showed up and went to pay, only to find I owed $ 100. When I asked why, the guy had no comment. I didn’t want to argue, so I swiped my card… for $ 100. Which means I paid $ 200 for a $ 175 detail. To make up for it, I just kept the $ 25 I had pulled out of the ATM to tip them out. I guess it worked out in the end, and the car looked really nice, but no matter how good the detail is, customer service and honoring your specials is key.
I will say, the car looked very nice, better than it had in years.

Not a friend, or family here, but I had great service on two cars I took in to Showroom Shine. The gentlemen I dealt with on the phone and in person were very nice, courteous, and helpful. They worked around my schedule and really made both cars look fantastic. So, my personal experience was excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to use these guys on future detail projects.

I don’t know if the other reviewers are friends or family, but my experience was not good. My wife bought a Living Social deal for a «Showroom Shine» detailing. My car has some fine scratches and swirling and I asked if they had an additional service that would address those issues. I was told that for $ 25 additional, they would do their buff and wax which should take care of fine scratches. When I returned to pick up the car, there was no improvement in the scratches, at all. I was told my paint is not in good shape. It did feel rough to the touch, but I thought the clay bar treatment would take care of that and it was part of the deal. I left upset. that there really wasn’t any improvement in the appearance of the paint. I went on line and did a little more research on the clay bar treatment and it certainly looked like that should have taken care of the surface roughness. I went to Harbor Freight and bought a claybar kit for $ 18. When i got home, it took me about 2 minutes to do a square foot area on the hood. It felt smooth as glass with the adjacent area feeling very rough in comparison. It is clear they did not do the clay bar treatment which was paid for.

TELL EVERYBODY YOU KNOW! If you care about how your car looks, these are the guys to keep it looking sharp!
I had been hearing about this place on the radio for some time — that they had won Steve Harvey’s Hoodie Awards a couple or threee years in a row. So, I was not hesitant to purchase the Groupon when it became available. I think I paid $ 40. (don’t quote me).
After playing phone tag for a few days (my only negative), I finally made a weekday appointment (required per the Groupon fine print) for the Express Detailing (normally $ 95). (ps: don’t expect to get a Saturday appointment right away).
Dropped off my car this morning, and just picked it up. True to their name, my car has that SHOWROOM SHINE!
I’d pay the $ 95 — it’s well worth it!
Groupon offered an option for mobile detailing for a bit more. If you don’t want to drive over to Bermuda Rd off 70, that might be a good deal.
The guys are young, but very professional and take pride in their work. I’ll be going back!
