My husband and I just got married at The Randall Gallery last weekend. 10 – 4.
Mark and his staff were amazing, they are virtually all to credit for everything going off without a hitch! Mark was super responsive to everything I had questions about has connections to make my vision come true.
The food was fabulous — very tasty!
The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure the Bride and Groom had food at all times.
Mark and his staff are at the gallery to show your vendors where they need to be and when. They communicate with the DJ, etc, to ensure that everything is how it is supposed to be music-​wise.
Everything we wanted was achieved on our big day with TONS of credit to Mark and his staff. The gallery is beautiful, the lanterns glowing on the third floor at night in the gallery were beautiful. We simply could not have asked for a better venue to have our wedding day.

Our daughter was married at the Randall Gallery on Labor Day Weekend, 2014.
It was absolutely the BEST WEDDING EVER!
Mark, Joe, Debbie and the entire staff were a delight to work with.
These people know what they are doing and do it exceptionally well.
Without hesitation I recommend using them for your great event!

I was married in May 2011. We had our ceremony on the main level. After the ceremony, the guests moved to the other side of the main level for cocktails and snacks. We were allowed to provide our own snacks instead of being required to choose their passed appetizers.
After the cocktail hour, we had toasts on the stairs leading up to the 2^nd level. The photographer was able to arrange all guests on the main level with my husband and I on the stairs. This is the best photo of the entire group. All 100+ people in one shot. Dinner was on the 2^nd level. I was able to change the menu as much as I wanted before the wedding. The only downside was that we could not try to food beforehand. No need to worry though. Everything was great! The food was served to each guest by hand by a server with a glove. It was so elegant and much classier than a buffet.
We then went back down to the main level where the ceremony room has now been converted into an open area for dancing. There were also some tables and chairs left downstairs so that the option to sit would still be available.
No need to decorate since the art and the building are beautiful. No need for expensive flower centerpieces since you can rent sculptures for the tables at $ 5/​each. They also provided the hanging lanterns for free since they had been used the event before and they had not yet been taken down. No need for a wedding planner since Mark will walk you through everything during the initial tour and the day of. There is no room for messing up since Mark and his staff keep you on time and in line.

My high school class had our Prom here 16 years ago and from what I remember this was an absolutely excellent location. I’d definitely recommend Randall Gallery to anyone looking for a small~to~medium sized event venue with excellent food & interesting art to keep your guests occupied when nothing organized is happening (like the Announcement of the Prom Court.)

I went here for a wedding reception last night. This place is amazing!
Important side note, do not be fooled by the outside. It doesn’t look like anything special but it is awesome!
There are 3 perfect levels. The event I went to used the main floor as a cocktail hour/​dance floor, the top for a dinner, and the bottom for people to tour during cocktail hours.
For an event, they still keep a lot of the art up which adds to the beauty of the venue. There are everything from paintings and mosaics to non-​traditional pieces. It was fun to look at and just have around.
The space very comfortably fit like 200 people and there was room for more. I would highly recommend this space to anyone for any sort of formal event. The three floors are each equally large and really bring a lot of versatility and function to an event.
If you are venue shopping, check it out!!!

Went to a wedding there. Great event space. Great food and décor. Great parking too. Lost one star because it was a little loud and no bathrooms on the dining level upstairs. Overall… definitely would use them!

This place is such a hidden gem! They do little advertising so they aren’t super well known. If you have an event here, chances are your guests will be seeing the place for the first time. I can say from experience that people will rave for YEARS about what a fantastic place this was. We didn’t do much decorating because the space is so cool on its own. Our guests really enjoyed having lots of room to move around.
I’m so often disappointed by catered food — especially when you’re dealing with food prepared off-​site. It was so great to find a place with a unique feel that was so focused on the quality of the food. Mark does a great job keeping the event moving. It’s just so well run.
I was so thankful to find an affordable place that provided such full service! They were quick to answer questions leading up to the date. It was just great to know all I had to do was be there in the right outfit while someone else handled all of the logistics.
I recommend this place to people all of the time and I get giddy when I get the chance to attend an event here because I know it will be an all around fantastic experience.
I do not mean to attack the negative reviewer here. I can imagine that whatever would result in a canceled wedding would be an upsetting event. That said, I would like to point out that the contract terms are posted on the Randall Gallery’s website so you can see for yourself that the deposit/​cancellation policy is fully disclosed in what I consider a pretty short and easy to understand contract.
Without getting into a lengthy discussion about loss of income and fixed costs, I’ll just say this:
Would you keep showing up for work every day if you never knew whether there would be work for you do, which also means that you do not know day to day if you are actually going to get paid? Your housing, transportation, food, utilities and other expenses do not just evaporate because your boss decided not to pay you today. A business owner faces this tri-​fold: Trying to cover their own compensation (you know, they have living expenses too), cover the fixed costs of their business and retain quality hourly workers who aren’t likely to remain employees if they cannot depend on steady pay.

Woo-​hoo for a great special events venue!
Justin and I had our wedding reception at Randall Gallery and couldn’t have been happier with the space. We spent time checking out various venues in St. Louis, but really liked the artsy feel of the Randall Gallery. While it’s not a «real» art gallery, they do rotate their collection of sculptures, paintings, textile and print pieces and the 3 levels offer plenty of space for mingling, dining and dancing. The venue is also handicap-​accessible and offers the use of an elevator for those who need it.
Mark Widmann is a pretty stellar salesman and makes any Randall package sound enticing, but he’s not pushy – he’s very accommodating and committed to ensuring his clients have the event they want. For us, that included edible reception food, rather than the seemingly ubiquitous dried-​out chicken and beef selections. While we did end up selecting a chicken entrée for dinner, it was moist in a champagne shallot sauce and plated well with its sides. The service was great, although I guess everyone pays a little extra attention to the chick in the white dress and veil. All of our guests commented on the uniqueness of the venue, the tasty food and the professionalism of the servers.
For a worrier like me, it is a testimony to Mark and the quality of his team that my only concern that evening was that those damn bobby pins were sticking me a bit too much. It was a pleasure planning our reception with Mark and a relief that we were able to stay within our budget. I definitely recommend Randall Gallery for receptions and company events!
