Visitation (typically 1 – 2 hours) along with the Funeral or Memorial Service at Church, Retirement Community Chapel or Cemetery Chapel; Funeral or Memorial Service without Visitation at Church, Retirement Community or Cemetery Chapel; Graveside Services; Cremation; and Body Donation to Medical School. These options do not require the use of a funeral home as a gathering place. Since we do not have to pass on the high overhead of a neighborhood funeral home, typical savings are 25−45%, or $ 1,000 to $ 4,000. We think that a family should not have to pay for costly facilities they are not using. We are the only funeral service owned and operated by the Kriegshauser family. We are not affiliated with SCI or any other national chain. We offer a FREE Consultation and a FREE Personalized Cost Estimate. We also offer complete funeral preplanning services. There is no requirement to fund your plan, however you may if you prefer.

History

Established in 1993.

We are 5^th generation funeral directors. Our father, uncle and their three cousins sold their two funeral homes to SCI, Service Corporation International from Houston, Texas in 1982. In 1993, Trey, Doug and Keith Kriegshauser realized that St. Louis needed an alternative to overpriced funeral homes. By that time, many St. Louis families were choosing simple and flexible funeral, memorial, and cremation service options that did not require the use of a funeral home as a gathering place. Unfortunately when a family calls a funeral home for those services, they still pay for those facilities.
