I love this store! Not many around town so I’m glad it’s close enough to me! I rent a pan there for almost all my kids birthday parties and they have a great selection. They also have a great selection of food coloring and rings for cupcakes! I love the flavors too like crème bouquet that I now use in replace of vanilla for my icing! I love the new bigger location too!!!

Came by for some baby shower supplies. They had most of what I needed.
The one thing I wanted that they didn’t have was light blue candies to melt for a craft. The lady working suggested that I just dye the white chocolate. I thought great I can do that, wrong I got dye on my hand my towel I had close by and the blue didn’t even look blue it looked like light purple. Never again I’ll just stick to already dyed candies.

I was very surprised at the prices. They are very competitive and have a great assortment of cookie cutters, candy molds, colors and decorations. Will definitely go by often.

This place is great! I recently stopped in here for the first time when I was working on a cake pop project. I was able to purchase melting chocolate, sticks, bags and twist ties for packaging, plus cute «googley» eyes for under $ 15. The workers are very knowledgeable and had lots of ideas to share. They also have an entire section of sprinkles (my dream come true!) and a huge variety of cookie cutters, not to mention anything you might need for cake making. I can’t wait to stop back when Christmas season rolls around for all of my baking needs, thank you Karen Anns!

Great place for any cake baking needs… Found really unique piping tips and all sorts of fondant supplies, as well as premade sugar flowers (in every color shape and size!)
Definitely more focused towards cake making, and mainly larger cakes, especially wedding ones, but it’s very comprehensive in that department and you have to go here if you are working with fondant or just want to start making fancy cakes!
Not really the place for other types of baking or kitchen supplies (although there’s a huge cookie cutter selection too!)

If you’re looking for anything cake supply related (aside from cake mixes) in the south St. Louis area, then Karen Ann’s is the place for you. They have it all. In list form, they have:
–cake pans
–cardboard cutouts that you place cakes on before boxing them
–cardboard cake boxes (for all size cakes)
–the little cupcake decorations made from plastic that you stick into cupcakes
–cookie cutters (in just about any shape you can think of)

The staff is friendly and is always ready to assist you with whatever you need, and able to give good advice on baking projects. The prices are fair, and the selection, as I’ve said, is great. It’s my first stop when I’m looking for a special touch for a baking project. Give them a visit. I bet you’ll like the store, too.
