Detail to the MAX

While researching places to get my car detailed in the area, I stumbled across Detail to the Max. Upon reading all of the very high reviews, admittedly, I became a little suspicious and excited at the same time. The business is located very near to my workplace and the website was informative with a list of all available services and pricing. I decided to give things a try.
Speaking with Max on the phone, he was super accommodating and very honest with the open appointments he had available. He was able to fit me in a couple of days after I called as per my request. I was under the impression that I could perhaps drive over, during the work hour and leave my car with them and have a co-​worker pick me up; however, Max provided the stellar service of coming to pick up my car for me! Talk about being surprised!
My car was in a pretty bad shape wherein exterior cleanliness is concerned as I had not taken care of it very well with all of the rain and bit of snow we’ve encountered (not to mention the salt on the roads). When Max returned with my car, it looked better than it had when I first purchased it! I was taken aback at such a great job that was done.
Needless to say, Detail to the Max was a very serendipitous find for me. Great customer service and a job well done. I’ll definitely share how awesome a job that was done with my friends, family, and co-​workers.
I usually never get around to writing reviews, but Max definitely earned one.

Ok. 7 reviews and all 5 stars had me suspicious this business had a bunch of friends and family members fluff their numbers. Not to mention the picture of fancy cars had me questioning weather they would even look at my Dodge Dakota or if I could afford them.
I went ahead and made an appointment and to my surprise they got me in the next day. I had another car so left my truck with them all day.
Considering the location was the basement of a parking garage I got even more assurance I was probably going to be really disappointed.
Honestly, I was already contemplating how bad I would feel about writing a poor review for a small local business. See my truck was not just dirty on the inside, it was horrifying! My dog has been sitting in the back seat for a year. Even with the comforter the amount of hair was unreal. It looked like my truck started growing hair of its own. I even took a vacuum to the backseat yesterday and barely got a few hairs off. This was no normal hair. But stiff thin hairs that embedded their way into the microfiber fabric.
I told Max I wanted every single hair gone and knew it was an impossible feat. I honestly was setting them up for failure.
When I came to get the truck tonight I was completely speechless. Literally stopped in my tracks. Not only was my truck cleaner than it’s ever been (even when I got it from the dealership) but there wasn’t a single hair. I looked in all the hard places even lifting up the seats thinking they wouldn’t have looked there… nothing!
The truck was beyond clean. I am beyond impressed. Even though we didn’t even discuss price the final bill was actually exactly what I expected and thought was fair.
Highly recommend them! I’m selling the truck and I have no doubt that it will go much faster when customers see how spotless it is inside.

I was having problems with a Dodge Durango. I ended up at Aamco to diagnose an electrical problem. The manager of the store was very honest with me. His top diagnostic guy was on vacation and he wasn’t comfortable «diving in» to find the problem. He told me they could track it down and fix it, but it would take a lot of testing and a lot of $$$. He advised me to take it to a Chrysler dealer and save a lot of money because of diagnostic computers, they could plug in and find it much faster. His honesty meant a lot to me. He could have started running tests and racking up a huge bill, but had the decency to give up business and save me money. Thanks a bunch to Tony in Arnold. That’s the kind of business I will visit again and recommend to everyone. It’s hard to find someone like that anymore!

Called on Saturday and spoke with Max. He seemed cheerful pleasant and accommodating on the phone and we scheduled an appointment. My car is shining like brand new now and I couldn’t be happier! I’ll definitely be back!

I took my car into Detail to the Max in order to have it cleaned and waxed before going on a long trip. When I picked up my car, it looked brand new. It was truly spotless on the inside and outside. I know that Max’s new employee, Terrence, was the one who was working on my car. He did just as excellent of a job that Max had done the last time I took my car in to get cleaned.
It’s obvious that Max holds the highest standards for his employees as well as himself when it comes to cleaning cars. Thanks so much again, looking forward to the next clean!

My schedule is jammed packed during the week with work and my family, which is why Max’s service was so great.
He dropped me off at work, gave my entire car a detail and picked me up at the end of the day. My Audi was spotless and looked like it just drove off the dealer lot.

I had this company clean up a 1999 Porsche Boxter that had never been «detailed» — WOW — did it look great! I went with the clay wax & it looked so nice that I was shocked! Great job, great service! I would highly recommend this business!

I decided to surprise my friend with an interior cleaning of his car, which was desperately needed. We have cross country road tripped in it 4 times in the last year so you can imagine the kind of mess that comes with essentially living in car full of camping gear. Max was busy taking care of other business, so he arranged for his employee to do an interior detailing. Communication was a little bit rough with him out of the shop, but we figured it all out. Max’s employee (didn’t get his name) did a wonderful job cleaning everything up and the car was also washed spotless. I wish I had taken before and after pictures because that alone would be enough to keep this business going. Prices are incredibly low for how much work they do on your car, so don’t forget to tip well! Would definitely recommend this service to anyone who needs their car detailed.

My car was stolen a week ago but the St. Louis Police were able to recover it late Thursday night. Needless to say it was a stinky mess. I called Max based on his great ratings and he was able to take my urgently requested full detailing job on Saturday — I was soooo glad he was able to accommodate me on very short notice and on a day that he doesn’t usually work.
Max was very professional and accommodating. He spent 4 full hours detailing the car, deep cleaning all of the floor mats and seats of my 2004 Nissan Sentra. When we picked it up it looked (and smelled) like a brand new car. I highly recommend Max. Expert work and a very professional man.
