Hang around a photographer long enough, and the phrase «rule of thirds» will probably come up. The idea is to keep your subject away from the center of the frame to create more visual interest. In a way, that’s how I approach all my shoots – keeping things ever so left of center. More interesting for you and me.
Maybe you want to fly, or see yourself in some new way. Perhaps jumping around or wearing masks is more your thing. Or maybe you need someone who can take an idea and make it into something a little bit more.
Or, maybe you’re getting married and need someone to climb or crawl on and over just about anything for a better shot. I’m more than happy to oblige.
History
Established in 2005.
I was taking pictures long before I ever considered myself a photographer. I had an old 110 camera, and wanted to photograph everything I could, even if the results were… less than spectacular. Having those moments and memories preserved was such a great feeling.
As time went on, I realized photography was what I really wanted to do, and as people started asking me to document their weddings and growing families, that pretty much sealed the deal.
Now I get to capture memories for everyone, and that’s a pretty great feeling.

My first ‘real’ camera was a Minolta point-and-shoot, and I remember thinking it was one of the best gifts I could ever receive. Many many rolls of film were exposed with that thing, until I got to high school and got to use some fancier cameras and start puttering around in the dark room (there are still times when I miss the smell of fixer). From there I went to Webster University and got my BA in photography.
