Nice little local divey spot that serves you drinks. Not complicated but a little too much smoke for me.

My friend and I have been joking about this bar for years. It sits on this dark little wedge between Concord Village Avenue and Lindbergh Blvd. We could never figure out the name, where to park, or whether it was actually a VFW hall. This has been our mystery, last night, we finally solved the mystery and found our way inside Crossroads. Shockingly enough, the little mystery wedge bar, was incredibly awesome. It might even surpass Shottzie’s as my favorite South County Hang… well, if the pizza compares which I am sure it does not. The bar is really nice. Hardwood floors with matching wooden tables and wide bar stools with foot rests. The beers are cheap(only $ 2.75 for a Bud Light) and the wait staff is friendly and funny. They are also way on top of the ball and ready to serve you. The place has a very Cheers type feel to it. It’s clearly a neighborhood bar and the people hanging out there are clearly regulars. Normally, this bothers me because I am not a regular and I get the stare down like I don’t belong. That did not happen in this bar, everyone was nice and accepting. Who does not love that in a neighborhood bar? There is also a nice little patio that’s fenced in from the hazards of Lindbergh Blvd(bonus star for that) and they have all the great little arcade games you could want.(some random bean bag throwing game, golf pro, etc.) Massive bonus stars for not being that smoky, having a pool table, having a stuff Spuds MacKenzie doll on the bar, and the pull tab clock on the wall. FANTASTIC.
