History

Established in 1988.

Set within Chesterfield’s Central Park, the Amphitheater becomes the focal point of the park with a capacity for approximately 4,000 patrons. The City is able to host a variety of events ranging from movie nights to Jazz and Blues concerts, and large orchestral performances.

The beautiful amphitheater is an intimate venue that combines stagestylish, modern architecture and state-​of-​the-​art audio technology with community charm that our City is famous for. The curved roof structure of the performance area provides a direct relationship with the site’s curved shape. The performance area provides unobstructed views of the performance as well as a view of the landscaped lake that forms a natural backdrop.
