Great food. I highly recommend the buffalo chicken or BBQ chicken pasta. Very fast service even right before a game!

No doggie bags? We attended a group event at this restaurant at $ 55 a plate. The food was acceptable, if pricy and the steak portion was about 3 times a palm sized piece of meat so I ate about a third of it and requested a doggy bag to have it later and give my doggie a treat. I was refused the take home container on the basis of some ridiculous excuse about the health department. Since when can you not take food you paid for home from a restaurant? Since when does the «health department» try to force people to overeat or waste huge portions of food? Does this mean the health department is going to shut down every take-​out service and food truck in the city? And if not, would that not be inconsistent? As it was it was a pathetic excuse that caused humiliation and negative feelings that made for a negative dining experience.

Ordered a burger. Asked for it medium-​well, same for the wife’s burger. Both came back burnt. The buns are gross onion buns.
I would have rather gone to a fast food joint. If anything, this teaches me to always check Unilocal first.

Ok selection of draft beers. Ribeye was a little fatty, but cooked correctly. Service was just OK. Lots of televisions. Salad was very big.

Great memorabilia throughout the bar/​restaurant. Typical bar food. Would be a great atmosphere during a home Cardinals game as you have a view into the stadium from the second level.

Not a big fan (pun intended). In town for business and went to a cards game. Was looking for a place for dinner after the game and wandered in. Waitress was great, only had pub food at that time which was really average. Worst part is not soon after I arrived they began putting chairs on tables and cleaning up. Know it was a Tuesday night at 10 but crappy customer experience. I literally drank my last beer surrounded by tables with chairs on top, the employees cleaning and drinking around me. Sure it’s fun on a weekend but avoid in a week night if you want to stay out past 10.

The food wasn’t over the top but a must so for a baseball fan especially if you like the St. Louis Cardinals. The entire restaurant is baseball themed. Pretty unique experience the moment you walk in and even visit the restroom. Check out my pics!

II only got a Unilocal account so I could let other people know how bad this place is. We ordered the mac and cheese and a burger. The food took a decent amount of time to come out and it wasn’t that busy. The server told us it was because the mac and cheese takes a little bit longer to make… understandable. The mac and cheese, which was $ 13.00 and sounded really good as one of their specialty cardinals dishes, was literally pasta shells with nacho cheese… just terrible… and I don’t have very high standards. The burger was extremely sub par as well; keep in mind I think Burger King has pretty good burgers. We did have the chips with blue cheese and bacon which was not bad. Also we had about 4 meals attempted to be served to us while waiting that were not ours. Overall overpriced and not good

Decent. Convenient location. Clean. Portobello «burger» is a grilled portobello mushroom on bread. Overpriced for what it is, but no other «burger» option for vegetarians

A joint to get a snack or meal before or after the game. It is what you’d expect. But the staff is friendly and welcoming. Nikki and Sarah are attentive and have good local recommendations. Right across the street from stadium. You can’t go wrong and they have a Cardinals store and hall of fame. Large open, family friendly if that’s your bag.

I’ll be honest, this place could have served me old banana peels and I would have loved it. Go Cards.

This place is really odd. I heard someone saying it was great and one of the cheaper options at Ballpark Village. While that may be correct, I didn’t think it was anything special. For me it was just a fancy burger place with a few other nice options. Nothing more than a Cardinals themed Red Robbin. The beers they had on draft were ‘American’ or St. Louis style, which I actually did enjoy. My experience was okay overall.
I had a fish sandwich, fries, and a cider. All were good. They fries had decent seasoning on them and I ate them without ketchup or honey mustard, which is rare for me. That means the fries were seasoned just right for me. The sandwich just seemed vary run of the mill though. That’s were all my overly amazing comments end.
I will give props to our server though. My group had someone who is a vegan in our party and the server double checked everything for my one group member. She went to double check every single detail about the different menu options that our member was asking about. It was really nice and above and beyond what I was expecting from the restaurant.
Part of me wants to come back, but cost and time might prevent me from doing so in the near future though.

This was just a weird deal. Visited in March, no game obviously, but the place was packed with LOCAL Cardinal fans. 20 minute wait to eat anywhere … should have taken all of the clues, but no, stuck it out, and were seated.
Service was slow, not horribly slow … but there were tons of servers yet they all seemed to be standing around with no food to deliver. when the food came it was … meh. Burgers were decent, portions were fine, but would never, EVER go back except to have a beer before or after a ballgame.

We came here for a birthday party a month ago. It was everyone’s first time in Ballpark Village and they still can’t stop talking about how they want to go back. The baseball museum and store was so great for the kids and the atmosphere in general is very fun. The ceiling is lighted up to look as if it has the stitchings of a baseball and there is memorabilia on all of the walls. A must for any cardinals fan! The portion sizes were VERY generous! We ordered two of the nachos thinking it would be something nice to snack on but for 15 people one order would have been enough! Everything was delicious. I see that there are a lot of bad reviews and I don’t understand why. We had a great time. Weve only been on a day and time when there was hardly anyone in there but I’ll edit this again after we go this weekend

TOURIST TRAP
I can not emphasis this enough to stay clear of this place. It is an obvious tourist trap that caters to the loyal Cardinal fan by location and décor but falls below average in food and price.
For a $ 20 lunch (burger and soda), it makes you wish you had gone to a fast food chain since I feel McDonalds has better burger quality than this place. The burger was cheap ground beef, skimpy, and pre-​made and MICROWAVED so it would appear hot & fresh but I know a microwaved burger when I taste it. The fries were almost average but had the portion size of a small in a fast food restaurant.
I asked for no cheese but it came with cheese. And a ton of it! Melted all over the burger and garnish. I sent it back. Once I got it back, I finally started eating it and the burger was steaming (like it had just been nuked in the microwave) and I tasted cheap american cheese. I peeled back the bun and discovered they just scrapped the cheese off the burger and put new garnish on it. There was globs of cheese still on the bacon strips. I used a napkin to try to remove the cheese still on the patty. This is inexcusable for the price they charged.
Our server was great and I didn’t want to send it back a second time. I figured I would tell everyone I know how awful this place was. So, I just had them wrap it and I gave it to my dogs
But I will NEVER step foot into this place again. The should be ashamed to use the Cardinals good name on the cheap food quality they serve. They bank on the customer being so bedazzled by the Cardinal décor and televisions, that they can skimp on the food quality.
For as much quality as they put into the restaurant décor, that was not the plan in the restrooms. I guess they wanted you to feel like your restroom experience was the same as the ballpark. Manual flushers & crank paper towels, small sink basins — for a brand new building, I expected better.
bottom line: tourist trap rip off; overpriced food; you are paying for the location so close to Busch Stadium. Be prepared to drop at least $ 20 bucks and leave unsatisfied and feel ripped off. I would NEVER go HERE AGAIN!

Not very good bar food and weak drinks were the order of the day. Went with a big group from work and in looking/​listening around the table, it seems like this was a pretty consistent opinion. I’m sure it’s hopping and happening on Cardinals game days so they don’t really have to overachieve on the food with a captive audience which is a sad excuse for still not trying.
Service was friendly and helped push this review to 2 stars.

My wife and I were visiting St. Louis and were told we had to go to Ballpark Village for a great eating and sports experience. Cardinals Nation is inside the BP Village area with plenty of TV’s, tables and spaces at the bar. Leanna was our server and did a great job. My wife ordered the Caprese flatbread while I had the Quesadilla filled with pulled pork. Both were excellent and very filling. They were running specials on the Sam Adams Seasonal to make room for the winter ale. Couldn’t beat that deal of 23oz for $ 3.50. Had a great time.

This review is for the AT&T Rooftop at Cardinals Nation.
My husband loves baseball and received a gift of two tickets to the AT&T Rooftop. Each ticket was around $ 120 and included a seat on the Rooftop, drinks, a buffet, and admission to the Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum. I’m not a sports fan at all, but they had me at «buffet.»
When we arrived at Ballpark Village, we weren’t exactly sure how to get to the Rooftop. As it turned out, we should have gone through the Cardinals Nation entrance that faces 8^th Street. You go through that door and take the elevator on your left up to the third floor. Show your ticket, get a dated AT&T Rooftop wristband, and you’re ready to go.
In the interior portion of the third floor, you will find restrooms, an all-​you-​can-​eat buffet, and an indoor dining area. You can take your food out to your seat, but the indoor dining area is nice because it is air conditioned and has tables. It even has a counter area with a few seats that look out onto the field. If you don’t get one of those seats, they also have TVs everywhere to keep you updated on the game.
When you head outside, you will find Rooftop Level 1 seating (still on the third floor) as well as a bar. You can take the stairs up to Rooftop Level 2 seating, which also has a bar. Both bars are covered, but not all of the seating is. You can get a little shade on Rooftop Level 1, but you won’t get any at your seat on Rooftop Level 2. Our seats were on Level 2. It wasn’t very hot, but we were right in the sun. The view was great, but the sun became unbearable. We spent a lot of our time inside. Most of the seats on Level 2 actually were vacant toward the last few innings. Some people migrated toward the bar, which was in a covered area. Other people had gone to Level 1 to seek some shade or had gone back to the air-​conditioned dining room to watch the game on TV.
I, of course, was most interested in the food. I really was not sure what to expect. The buffet starts 1.5 hours before the game and runs for a total of 3 hours. I imagine the buffet menu is not always the same. However, on my visit, it included salad, pasta salad, asparagus, rice, loaded mashed potatoes, glazed grilled chicken, a build-​your-​own-​nachos bar, a hot dog bar, and desserts (e.g., cupcakes, brownies, cookies). They also had a couple of stations in the back, but I can’t quite remember what they were serving there. I believe one had paninis. Toward the end of the buffet, it seemed like they were running out of food. They started replacing some items with similar items. For example, instead of loaded mashed potatoes, they put out loaded red potato halves.
The food was average. I made some nachos for myself with nacho cheese sauce and seasoned ground beef. They were pretty mediocre, but it was kind of nostalgic because I haven’t had nacho cheese sauce since I was a kid. The chips were red and white in honor of Unilocal.Or, the Cardinals. You pick.
I should have gone with the glazed chicken and loaded red potato halves. I sampled those two things and enjoyed them quite a bit. I believe the chicken was supposed to be «citrus-​glazed,» but it tasted more like a barbecue sauce to me. One of my potato halves had several black spots (as potatoes often do), but other than that, I loved them. I would say the potatoes were my favorite food item on the buffet. I doubt the brownie was freshly baked, but that was pretty awesome, too. ;)
This was the best baseball experience I’ve ever had. All of the employees were really friendly and seemed to be enjoying their jobs. Our tickets were free, but I consider the full price to be a decent value. You get a seat, food, drinks, and a trip to the museum, which is located in the same building on Floor 2. The only two improvements I would make are:
1. Consider a soda fountain or at least a water station. The bartenders were great, but I hate to keep bothering them with water requests. I like to stay hydrated.
2. More importantly, put a roof on Level 2. I know it’s called the AT&T Rooftop, but please, please, please cover Level 2. It won’t prevent the sun from shining in, but it certainly would help and also would provide shelter from rain. We had a great view outside, and it was a shame to spend most of our time watching the game on one of the many TVs.

Don’t go here. Just don’t do it. I read the reviews and still went, the Cardinals theme just drew me in. I ordered a Philly Cheese steak and the bread was so burnt that I sent it back but the next one I got wasn’t any better! Sure the bread wasn’t burnt but this caused the cheese to not be melted. Not like that was even the worst part. The meat was fatty and had no flavor! My mom let me try her bbq sandwich and it was okay but nothing special. Seriously, don’t eat here it isn’t worth it. Sure the decorations are cool but why suffer with bad food just for that.

It takes a Nation.
Since Ballpark Village opened in late March, I’ve slowly made my way through the complex. I hit up Budweiser Brew House first, and I’ve also had drinks at Tengo Hambre and Fox Sports Midwest Live. However, Cardinals Nation is my favorite stop thus far.
Why wouldn’t it be? Frankly, it has the best name. Still, there are certain elements about Cardinals Nation that put it in front of some of the other options in Ballpark Village.
First, if I’m going to have a beer in BV, I’m going to Cardinals Nation. You’re not going to avoid spending five dollars on a Budweiser in the building, and CN is no different. However, they offer pints in 16 and 23 ounce. Several of the 23 ounce beers are $ 6.50, including Schlafly Pale Ale. If you prefer Bud and Bud Light, those are also in the $ 6.50 price bracket.
Also, as far as I know, Cardinals Nation is the only establishment in the complex to offer specials. I haven’t heard anything from the other places. They had half price appetizers before and after the Blues games, so I had wings and fries for a fairly reasonable price. Once things start to slow down at BV, I’m sure that all places will offer specials, but big props for being the first!
Alright, the food was pretty average. In fact, I would give Budweiser Brew House the advantage in that category (but not the beer!). I’ve eaten at CN a couple of times now, and it didn’t make me want more. However, if they keep offering specials during hockey/​baseball games, I’m bound to find something to enjoy.
If I wander down to Ballpark Village, Cardinals Nation will most likely be my preferred stop.
