Great service, excellent food, and great prices drove 2 hours to come worth the drive. Dumplings remind me of grandma’s home cooking!

It was real bad. Apart from the fact it is in a store, it is t the most welcoming of places. I ordered a muffin because it was so foreign to me. The waiter we got was not very friendly. He did what he needed and he almost never gave us refills.

Breaks my heart to have to write this. I love the brand, and I’ve never had a bad experience before. But, after hours of travel, our family stopped for some late night dinner. It was 9:15. The sign indicated that they closed at 10:00. Our group split, some went to the restroom, some stayed at the hostess stand. By 9:30 several people had been checked out, there was a cashier at the store, but still no one had come to seat us. By now two more parties had gathered behind us. So, we left. Hungry and disappointed without so much as a greeting from an employee. We still had to find some dinner. Hopefully this is representative of this location only, and not a new trend or attitude within the entire brand.

Fantastic place to either go in and sit to eat or pick up. They were fast and very friendly. It is easy getting on and out of the parking area but difficult to find a parking spot. The restaurant is clean and organized. Food was wonderful and well presented. Will be going back.

What’s not to love about the Cracker Barrel? I have a certain affection for this place. Half country store/half restaurant… the food is what really brings me back though. I ate dinner and breakfast here on a recent trip. Portions are good-sized and am happy to see they are offering more healthy options here. Could be a good clue to the loads of overweight/obese people that tend to frequent places like this. Will definitely be back and wish they would open in more urban locations. People who live in large cities actually like this kind of food too. It shouldn’t just be relegated to roadside locations.

Mediocre southern comfort food. After hours of hiking and road trip, we could use some comfort food regardless of the health concerns. So we came to the Cracker Barrel in St. George following the sign on I-70. Unfortunately the taste is quite mediocre comparing with our experience in Florida Cracker Barrel. We ordered bunch of deep fried dishes of course. Deep fried chicken liver and chicken fried steak. It’s OK but not impressive. Still crunch but not juicy. It looks to me that they fried it longer than it should be, so the meat inside lost the tenderness and juiciness it should be. The flavor was plain, too. I expected them to seasoning the chicken liver a little more, or more flavor in the batter. It’s quite a shame because I was looking forward to try their fried chicken liver dish. Now the ice tea. We all ordered sweetened ice tea, which southern ice tea should be. However when it’s up we kept wondering if they gave us the unsweetened, because it tasted like no sugar at all. Up to today I still wonder if the waiter gave us the wrong tea, or Cracker Barrel went healthy and reduced the sugar in ice tea. The portion was pretty good though. None of us touched our corn bread and the biscuit because with all those fried meat we were pretty stuffed. We did have space for some dessert thought, and I have to admit their coconut cream pie was really light and delicious. Highlight of the meal. Here is the interesting part of our waiter. He was nice and friendly. But closing to the end of meal he kept asking if we had a good meal, and tried to give us the bill before we order the dessert. It felt like that he’s trying to rush us subtly. However after our dessert when we’re ready to pay our bill, we couldn’t find him for five mins. Comparing with our experience at Cracker Barrel in Florida a few years ago, this experience was just so so. I kind of regretted that we selected this one instead of In-And-Out burger when I stepped out of the restaurant.

If you like pancakes, Cracker Barrel is great. Otherwise it is average. The breakfast is ok but the bacon doesn’t come out crispy and the sausage patties taste like they grind up ham and cook it as a patty and call it sausage. That’s ok if you like ham, but I wanted sausage so it was disappointing.

We eat out in this area a lot and wanted to give a new place a try. Having never eaten at a Cracklebarrel we had a blank slate. After being sat, it took well over 10 minutes for anyone to come take our drink order. I watched as a couple ladies next to us were in the same boat and after I saw them flag someone down and get service I finally flagged down a passing staff and told her that we had yet to be approached by anyone. She took our drink orders and was polite. She(Peyton) was a server in another section and she seemed to be well on her game. Our server was not. The food was alright but nothing to scream about. I had the chicken fried chicken. Kids had Mac and cheese and pancakes and my wife had a breakfast plate. We were underwhelmed by the entire visit.

Another great experience at Cracker barrel. Went to this location twice on our way to Bryce Canyon and back. The store was jam packed with great gifts and good treats. The employee’s were all very sweet and happy. And, let’s not forget the good olé Southern dishes. How I love me some Cracker Barrel. I can’t get enough of this place an if there is one in the city I am visiting, I have to try it… at least once. This location did not disappoint.

Not sure why so many people rated this place as highly as they did. I was thoroughly disappointed in their service and the food was less than average. I got the country boy breakfast, asked for Cheddar cheese on my scrambled eggs, apparently they don’t know the difference between Cheddar and American cheese. I don’t care for American cheese so strike 1. Waiter was inattentive and only showed up twice– once to take the order, the other time to leave the bill. Seemed like he was upset to even be at work. Strike 2. When another lady brought out the meal, she spilled the bowl of grits on my tray, and then didn’t even do anything about it. Just left it and said oops. Should have at least brought another bowl. Strike 3. Anyway, food was really mediocre in flavor, told my wife they had strawberry syrup for pancakes, but not for the waffles. What?! Cracker Barrel was a one and done visit for me. Would not recommend in the slightest.

Cracker Barrel is a fun place to go, and I visit rarely. So when I encounter their menu where everything sounds good, it makes me kind of crazy. Tonight I polled the super-friendly staff for their guidance in deciding my takeout dinner. The woman from the gift shop reminded me I really couldn’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I settled on the meatloaf with hash brown casserole, Mac and cheese, and fried apples. Also got the chicken Caesar for a little roughage. Meatloaf was as good as advertised as were the rest of my choices. Yum! Unfortunately no silverware or napkins were included. I got biscuits instead of corn muffins(sad face), and eight preserve/honey cups(kinda excessive?). I was told the salads were«really big,» but not this one. Didn’t love the chicken on it either. It was also soggy from having the hot food on top. Oh well, all in all a nice visit. And I even escaped without doing additional shopping in the gift store!

Our first dinner in St. George and it was very delicious! We had the Sunday home style chicken dinner. That was the best fried chicken, green beans and mashies! I’m so mad they don’t have one in Cali! Our waiters were so friendly and kept our drinks coming. Very good food and service! Love the rocking chairs!

Food is just mediocre, but Maggie our server was great!!! Very friendly, great suggestions on food. The store at the front is adorable. The kids loved walking around & checking out all the fun things in it. I wish the food was better, but good enough to stop in for the experience.

My friends and I decided to stop by here from Vegas on the way to Utah and it looked like a nice little breakfast joint. Since I was out of town I had to update my banks travel plans so my card won’t be declined but the hostess rudely made a remark saying«people these days don’t know how to talk and are too addicted to their phones» excuse me? I was so baffled that I didn’t even bother to explain why I was on my phone to her. Well back to the review, I got the sunrise sampler and everything was mediocre. I ordered over easy eggs and the yolk was pretty al dente. My favorite was the apples, which you had to ask for. You get a neat little game to play while you wait for your food which I liked.

How do you go wrong with down home country cooking? Cracker Barrels are all over country for a reason. The food is comfortable, comforting and tasty. Make sure you order hash browns instead of hash brown casserole. In my opinion they are superior. The biscuits are usually great and the blackberry preserves are just amazing. I can’t wait until they open a Cracker Barrel here in Las Vegas. I will be a regular customer.

Cracker Barrel has amazing food for a great price. We have breakfast here almost every weekend and the service is great, the portions are amazing and the taste is like your mom cooked it for you in the kitchen. I’m not a big fan of country style restaurant but I really like this place. My boyfriend and I usually come here for dinner. Sometimes we got off work late and went here right befe they close to buy some food home and they were still cool with that. I like their grilled chicken or white fish fillet dinner that comes with 3 sides, which is nice for the price we pay. However I only give 4 starts because 4 out of the 5 times my boyfriend’s chicken was a lil burned.

I love the country store inside. We have our favorite cast iron skillet we bought there. And, you can find some candy that we got as kids(in the 50’s and 60’s) that is kind of hard to find anymore. The food is ok. Nothing to write home about, but decent.

My first ever time at Cracker Barrel and now I wish we had one in Las Vegas. The food was delicious and you get a large portion for a very reasonable price. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. The Country Store attached was also really cute. a lot to look at but really nothing that you really NEED. But it does help pass time while you wait to be seated for your meal(thankfully I didn’t have a wait but browsed the store for the sake that I had never been there before).

I was happy to see this place on my way out to Zion from Vegas. These are all over Texas, where I grew up, so when we got a little hungry on the road it only made sense to stop here for breakfast. It was just like I remember. Long wait list, with people sitting out on the porch in rocker chairs or taking a stroll through the country store. We waited about thirty minutes for our table, which I guess should be expected for a three-day weekend. The service was pretty decent for such a busy restaurant, with the exception of a little mix-up where we were only brought out about half the biscuits and gravy we were supposed to get. The server quickly fixed this mistake and even brought us out a couple extra for the inconvenience. Eggs were cooked perfectly, which is something most locations usually botch for some reason. The smoked sausage patties, hash brown casserole, and biscuits and gravy are the main reason I like this place: Great, unique flavors that really make breakfast something special. I hadn’t been to a Cracker Barrel in a long time, so I was pleased to find out the cooks came through for us and prepared these items hot and fresh. Our party was pretty big, in the middle of an already packed out restaurant, and despite that, we still received some really good service and food.

After hearing about this place from both friends and family, we finally decided to stop here and see what all the fuss was about. I didn’t really know what to expect when we first got there. The building is fairly large, since it holds both the restaurant and a mini store. The store was adorable, and had everything from home décor, candy and even holiday themed decorations. They also had an abundance of salt and pepper shakers, and a huge clearance section. We were seated quickly, and our waitress took our drink order shortly. Right off the bat, the service was not up to par. Despite telling her I wanted a raspberry lemonade, and her replying«that’s my favorite drink!», she brought me a raspberry iced tea. I didn’t mind too since I was thirsty, but that should have been a red flag. Once we ordered, it was about a 20 – 30 minute wait for our food. When they brought out our food, we noticed my brother’s BACON cheeseburger, was missing the bacon. She also forgot two of our sides. After delivering our food, she disappeared for 15 minutes, so my brother sat waiting — because not only was there no bacon, the burger also had mayo on it, which he specifically asked not for. When she finally came back, we told her what was wrong and she went back to the kitchen to get bacon and our sides. About 10 minutes later, she finally returned and we had our complete order. Aside from the service, the food was mediocre. I got the fish and chips, and it was definitely nothing special. I think I’ve had fish and chips at a chain restaurant that was better than that. The prices weren’t bad, considering how much food you got. I recommend going once, just to see what the fuss is about. But after that, I don’t think you’ll ever had to go back.

Ok, so my husband and I spent a great day in Utah at a friend’s birthday party in Apple Valley! We decided to eat on the way home at Cracker Barrel. He has been here a couple of times, I however was a virgin. The entrance is really welcoming and there is a cute little store to stroll through with little knick knacks and old fashioned candy as you make your way to the restaurant. Once we sat down our server was prompt with drinks and offering the special of today. My husband chose the chicken and dumplings and I chose the roast beef. Although it is rib stickin food probably not the best for your health! The portions are hearty and I enjoyed my meal but I could not eat this way all the time. My husband loved his meal and found the dumplings to be light and fluffy. My roast beef was somewhat chewy but the gravy helped break it down. Our server was a little pushy asking us if we wanted dessert before we had half way finished our meal. I let it pass and in the end ordered dessert although I probably shouldn’t have. I can now say I have tried this place and roll myself out the door to the car.

All I can say is YUM!!! The CLK Trio finally got to eat at Cracker Barrel!!! We were on the way to Zion and stopped by this location to eat. We’ve been eager to try this place out and it delivered. It’s something I couldn’t eat on a day to day basis but it’s definitely worth eating once in a while. All you need to order is the buttermilk fried chicken with the hash casserole and mac n’ cheese. Seriously. That. Is. All. You’ll leave with a ginormous smile because it’s so darn delicious. We shared different entrees but those three items mentioned above were the most memorable. We all agreed we would come back again for those exact items!!!

I am a Cracker Barrel fan. Like the way that they decorate all their restaurants. All the different kinds of rocking chairs sitting outside on the patio is a nice touch. Their country store has all kinds of cool stuff. Lots of merchandise is here that you will not find at your local Walmart store. I bought some Goo Goo Clusters for myself. Can never find this candy in my hometown. Their menu is so diverse. Many options to choose from. Breakfast is my preference when going to any Cracker Barrel restaurant. Their buttermilk pancakes are on point! Delicious with their own brand name syrup! Lunch and dinner choices are pretty good as well. I recommend stopping in at this Cracker Barrel when in the St. George, Utah area. This branch is located right off Interstate 15.

We stopped at this Cracker Barrel on the way to Zion National Park. We usually go to the one on the way to Maryland in the east coast. The west coast is not difference, just different people and environment maybe, that’s all. I ordered trout with 2 sides of vegetables. I’d never order string beans from CB again because I think this came out of the can. But the broccoli is fresh, so that was good. The fish was not bad. Hubby ordered chicken salad, that came out good. The waitress didn’t know that string beans look like strings, she kept saying they have beans, not string beans. Anyway, the food was ok and they made us very tired and sleepy. The waitress looked sleepy too *=) but she was nice and polite. So we’re cool.

One year after our first visit, and I still give it 3 stars. Our visit started off horribly when our server never showed up to offer us DRINKS! After about 10 minutes, we asked to be moved to a different section. Our new server’s name was Leticia and she was awesome. Super sweet and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. Now, on to the food. I ordered the fried catfish sandwich on sourdough and it came with fries and coleslaw. I’ve always said that catfish tastes like dirt, and this place confirmed it. I know good catfish isn’t supposed to taste muddy, but it did. I wouldn’t recommend this. The fries and coleslaw were good though. The BF ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. I enjoyed his food more. The meatloaf wasn’t dry at all. It had the right amount of seasonings and the ketchup gave it that hint of sweetness. The mashed potatoes and were on the chunkier side, but still good. And the mac & cheese was basic. His only complaint was that his food arrived lukewarm. Like last time, we were the only minorities in the store. So I felt a few extra eyes on us. There was a lot of fun things to look at, but nothing I would actually buy. All in all, large portions of food for a decent price. Like I said in my first review. This is why Americans are fat.

Just came in Cracker Barrel to eat dinner. We were seated right away. The server, Kevin, was extremely friendly. I was not all that hungry so I asked if I could order a kids meal. He delightfully allowed me to! Not only did I get a kids meal but he made me a special orange-coke drink. I ordered the chicken dumplings and my friend ordered the roast beef dinner. They were both delicious!!! Also, the gift shop has an AMAZING variety to choose from and came in handy with Christmas around the corner. Thank you Kevin for the great service! :)

Thank you Nicole, for putting up with my snickers a??. You know that snickers commercial were the kid is Danny DeVito and is in need of snickers. Then he gets a snickers bar and he turns into this nice young gentleman… well that was me, I was in need of a snickers. I found our server –Nicole to be patient, courteous, funny, and interesting. I had just woken up from a deep sleep, when Hubbs was like«we’re here in this ever so gleeful voice». I was patiently waiting for the Cracker Barrel and fell victim to sleep. I entered one of those naps, where you don’t know where you are, or even who you are… I guess my body needed the one hour of rest. Anyway, I apologized to Nicole for my crankiness; she replied she didn’t even know. That is true Customer Service. I ordered the cracker barrel sampler which consists of three helpings of three different items. Chicken dumplings, meatloaf, and sweet cured ham. My sides were the fried sweet apples, macaroni and cheese, and corn. On Thursdays, the vegetable of the day is cabbage. The Cabbage was so good… yes I did not list it, because Hubbs ordered it. I traded him some of my mac and cheese for half of his cabbage I did not take a picture because I had destroyed it, there was nothing left… not a kernel of corn, not a lick of dumpling gravy. Not a morsel of meatloaf… It was in my belly. ***Nicole may only have one star on her apron, but she is one of the reasons that this CB is getting a five star review. Even though I could not eat another bite of food I did indeed order the Coca-Cola Cake. ****If there is any reason to go to a Cracker Barrel, go for the Coca-Cola Cake, it is so moist, so chocolaty, so worth it!

«In the spirit of pleasing people, we invite everyone regardless of race, color, disability or national origin to enjoy our restaurant and old country store. Since 1969, we have tried our best to provide food and service in ways that uphold our traditions of genuine quality. If you feel we have not delivered on this promise, please let us know» So wurden wir empfangen, nachdem wir den Essenstipp vom gegenüberliegenden Tourist Info-Center erhalten hatten. Vier Sterne.
