St Charles Country Club

Just went to a tea party at the St. Charles Country Club. It was excellent and the food and service was terrific. A lady by the name of Jane was running the event, she really stood out with her attention to detail and care. Awesome!!!

I had my wedding here in Oct of 2010 and it was amazing. We saw other venues in the area and the banquet room at STCC was over the top. We had a beautiful Sunday brunch. The room was full of light and we had an amazing view of the course. The food was over the top amazing. Most weddings I go to the food is just so-​so and I was worried the food we had at the tasting wouldn’t be as good on our wedding day but IT WAS! So happy we choose STCC for our wedding. It was flawless.

I got married at St Charles Country Club June 1 2013 and it was amazing! We got married outside in a grove of trees by the golf course and it was beautiful! We had looked at many different places and we couldn’t find anything that compared to this location. We did station style food; with a make your own taco, pasta, slider station and sushi. The food was the best wedding food I have ever had and it was so easy! The guests could get whatever they wanted!
Most importantly Carla Keeney is the Event Coordinator at St Charles Country Club. Carla is AMAZING! She is so easy to work with and creative. I had a fairy tale theme wedding and she took my idea and brought it to life. She really was my fairy godmother. From the big planning, to fitting all my guests comfortably in one room (I had 300), to all the little details on the actual day, she kept me from having a bridal meltdown and kept my vision in mind.
For all those brides looking for a venue PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go see Carla at St Charles Country Club you will NOT regret it!

We chose St. Charles Country Club for our wedding reception in August of 2012. We knew we wanted to have our reception in the Chicago suburbs, but there a lot of options to choose from and it can be overwhelming. For us, it was easy, as I grew up in St. Charles and we were members there years ago. I knew that Carla and Deb, who are both in charge of the weddings at St. Charles CC, are the best in the business at what they do. And this proved to be very true.
The first time I took my groom to see the venue, he was very impressed. The clubhouse is beautiful and the golf course serves as a gorgeous backdrop for any wedding or reception. They do some wedding ceremonies outside, but we opted to have ours at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church just a mile down the road. It is one of the prettiest churches in the area and the proximity makes for a great combination.
From the first time we met with Carla to discuss the wedding details, she made it clear that she would help with everything and she did! It was like having a wedding planner included with the venue which was a big deal to us as we have very busy schedules and didn’t have as much time to pay attention to the details. She had a vendor recommendation for everything and we took a lot of her advice. She also is the co-​owner of a floral company, Debi’s Designs, that did an incredible job! All I did was tell her the colors of our wedding — blue and purple — and she created all the arrangements, bouquets and centerpieces! Everyone commented on how amazing the flowers were and the best part is the prices were reasonable too!
Besides the assistance with the planning process, everyone at St. Charles CC made sure the day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. From the valet when people arrived to the cocktail area set up and the Chinese lanterns on the patio… to the head table, the lighting and room ambience, and the attentive service of the bartenders and servers… Every single thing went as planned! Everyone raved about the appetizers, soup, salad, entrée and dessert! The bars were well staffed and we even had Chicago pizza as a late night snack!
The sign of a great party is when no one wants it to end and this was definitely how our wedding was at St. Charles. Our guests danced all night and at midnight, almost everyone was still there! No one wanted to leave! We had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they had ever been to!
Overall, our experience at St. Charles was amazing. We would recommend St. Charles CC to anyone looking for a first class wedding experience!

I booked the St. Charles County Club for my wedding reception, which took place in May 2012. It was the first of three appointments I had scheduled for that day to review options in the Chicago suburbs. By the time our appointment was over, I wanted to cancel my other appointments — I was sold and didn’t want to see anything else! Needless to say, we told Carla, the events manager, we wanted to book the space as soon as possible!
From the beginning of our first appointment, Carla made me feel at ease and assured me that all aspects of the reception — from price to décor — would fit our needs. She was always extremely responsive via phone and email and gave me the confidence that our reception would be everything we had always imagined. In the months leading up to our wedding, Carla covered every detail and was always flexible — adding, removing or adjusting components of the reception plan to meet our requests. She gave us advice on vendors and we were extremely satisfied with all of them — particularly our cupcake favors and cake from Herbs’ Bakery and our floral arrangements from Debi’s Designs. I highly recommend both!
The day of the wedding, Carla was PERFECT. The entire event space — and particularly the ballroom — looked absolutely gorgeous. I wish I had a recorder to remember all of the rave reviews we received from family and friends! Carla was calm throughout the entire evening and kept everything in line and moving smoothly throughout the night! I felt like she was genuinely dedicated to our event and wanted everything to be perfect. She went above and beyond in so many ways and thought of details and special surprises that never even crossed my mind.
When all the guests were enjoying cocktail hour and the ballroom was closed off for dinner prep, Carla brought me in the room alone and told me to «take it all in.» She reminded me that in all of the craziness of a wedding day, it’s easy to forget to take a moment to let everything sink in and take a mental picture of your reception. I stayed in the ballroom for several minutes to take a look at the gorgeous room so I would remember how special everything was. I will remember that moment for the rest of my life, and I’m so thankful that Carla was thinking about those important details for me.
My wedding was even more amazing than I had ever imagined. I will never forget the wonderful job Carla and her team did. I feel like she is a family friend at this point! My family loved her so much that we booked her for my sister’s wedding! I would recommend Carla and the St Charles Country Club to anyone!
