Outstanding course!!! The workers are friendly and take the time to assist you on whatever it is you need! Unlike royal hawk! I would advise all of you avid golfers to pursue a membership at royal fox!

We had our wedding at Royal Fox in March 2013 and would highly recommend this venue to anyone else considering it! We looked at many, many reception venues in the Chicagoland area and found that many of the spaces in our budget were very similar (lots of big ballrooms!). Royal Fox, however, is beautiful, unique and reasonably priced for everything you get!
We had nothing but great experiences with our coordinator, Jane. Throughout the whole process Jane was attentive to our needs and answered every question in a timely manner. During the wedding we had a couple of last minute seating changes which Jane and her staff handled quick and easily. The day of the wedding I was absolutely thrilled when I saw the room! Jane had thought of every little detail and added small touches everywhere. Even on a dreary March day, the room and views outside were beautiful!
We have been complimented many times on the space, food and the service. I know most people are biased towards their own wedding, but even looking with a critical eye, I can still say Royal Fox did an amazing job!

We had our wedding there in early April and everything was beyond perfect! The food and drinks were wonderful! The venue is so beautiful on it’s own, but when I saw it completely decorated, it took my breath away. Jane made wedding planning so much fun! She went above and beyond to make sure our day went flawlessly. She also was extremely helpful when trying to pick out other vendors. Every person she recommended made our day even more amazing.

My daughter had her wedding here in December, 2012 and thanks to a beautiful venue, and excellent staff and the Jane Spair, Wedding Coordinator Extraordinaire, we had an evenig that was magical! The venue is just beautiful, the decorations coupled with the warm atmosphere coupled with a staff that is service oriented made me feel like I was hosting an event in my home, a large beautiful home. The culinary experience was far above any wedding banuet food I have had at other venues. I am an unoffical wedding cake connoisseur and this was honestly one of the best wedding cakes I have tasted as well.
Jane’s attention to detail did not go unnoticed, she saw to it that no stone was left unturned and in her graciousness kept our event on pace. She was attentive and listened well to tone we wanted set for the event. I can not say enough about the experience provided for our family, extended family and our guests.
We originally were going to have an outdoor wedding on their beautiful grounds, (stunning actually) but when my daughter decided to have a Christmas wedding, we were equally as pleased with the setting, hosting the wedding there with their expansive view of the pituresque grounds, the warm and rich interior and the convenience of walking right into the reception paved the way to a beautiful ceremonoy followed by magical reception all made possible by the event staff at this spectacular venue!

Absolutely Terrible!
My sister had her wedding reception at Royal Fox in June of 2012. We had high hopes, especially after the tasting and working with Jane. We were extremely disappointed. Here’s a rundown of the major problems:
1. They served the wrong main entrée — Yep, you read that correctly, they served the wrong food! When we brought it to their attention they told us «the wedding last week didn’t want the breaded chicken, so we didn’t think you would either.» Ummm, what the heck does a wedding a week ago have to do with what my sister ordered?
2. They didn’t have champagne at the bar, even though my sister paid extra specifically for it. When we asked the manager on duty where the champagne was we were told that we were lying about paying for it (we weren’t and the contract proved that).
3. The room was WAY TOO HOT! Several guests complained about the temperature. When we brought this up, they told us it was because we had too many people in the room; however, we had at least 70 fewer people than their stated maximum. They also brought us to other sections of the club and said «see, the temperature is fine here.» Again, what does that have to do with anything? The reception room was hot and they did nothing to resolve the issue at all.
Overall, what was going badly was made much worse by the horrible attitude of the staff. They never once apologized and instead were defensive and made excuses for everything. I would never recommend this venue to anyone. As of today, they have not done anything in the way of an apology or compensation for the issues we experienced. The reception could have been great, but instead was frustrating, uncomfortable, and frankly, a little embarrassing. Never again. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

We had our wedding here in October 2010. Once we visited here, I knew nothing else would compare. The building and the grounds are beautiful and impressive. Even the bathrooms are extra classy! The event came off like we had paid about twice as much for it as we had. You are also the only event there. We also had our ceremony inside, in a beautiful room with two story windows. I received so many compliments on all of the food — I heard many times that the cake was the best people had ever had. The cake is included in the packages but is actually contracted from an outside bakery through the country club, so we will be able to go to the bakery and have it again! They make all of the food as they serve it — no sitting around for hours — and it shows. They also make their own scrumptous soups. The high-​ceilinged main event room has beautiful chandeliers and wall sconces that give the room a candlelight– like glow. It was just incredible. Jane, the coordinator, takes care of everything, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. She even did little touches to make things run more smoothly and look more beautiful that I hadn’t thought of. The entire wait staff was also so professional and friendly. I really wouldn’t change a thing about this place and think you can’t find anything even close to being this nice in this price range. One more thing — there are several hotels close by that will do shuttles for your guests to and from the Royal Fox. We used the Courtyard Marriott about two miles away — the shuttle service was wonderful! Definitely something to consider with the great open bar that is included in the Royal Fox’s packages.
