This store consistently marks up the price on its alcohol. You can pay a LOT less at their competitors (Binny’s, Lundee’s). Buyer beware!

NO reason not to grant this place 5 stars after many years of dropping by to see what they have on sale. I like this location better than Geneva for some reason, but then I like St. Charles better than Geneva, easier traffic and parking.
Very helpful low-​key experienced help, particularly in the Wine areas. No hovering, you will probably have to go get them but they know their stuff. No club card, loyalty blah blah card, just decent to very good prices on occasional quantity buys on VERY good labels in the wine area. HUGE beer and plenty of spirits area. Well lit, not dusty, open boxes on the floors and racks kind of place, you can easily spend a half hour in there just browsing. Rotating sales in different areas all the time, pretty hard to walk out of here empty handed but I have done it.
Kane county taxes are also a nice refuge for us Cook County escapees. Do it.

Savway is not the greatest but the convenience factor bumps it up a star in my book. That, and the fact that the staff is incredibly friendly. especially this gentleman, I don’t want to call him old but like late 50s ish that is there a lot of the time. He even recognized my egregious consumption of Bud Light Lime a Ritas and introduced me to the 12 pack of 8 oz cans, like that’s something I need to welcome into my life. Luckily, it’s winter so those calorie-​sugar bombs are a distant memory for the time being. Also, they run good sales on both wine and Belvedere which happen to be two of my other faves.
I also like how it’s never crowded so the lines are never long. It does teeter on that fine line of having that musty liquor store feel so I don’t like that. But it’s close, prices are good and the staff is nice which is really all I can ask for in. Bonus for their frequent wine tastings. Although I never frequent them purposely, I have wandered in and gotten to try some new wines.
Also, this one is better than the Geneva store. Jussssss sayin.
