Appetizers were fantastic! Drinks were perfect! Not to mention our waitress Emma was really cool! Will be returning very soon!

Walked in at 8:40 and the kitchen closed at nine. Totally gracious about feeding our starving selves.
The best, most amazing thing was James, the bartender. Immediately he asked us both are names. Cute, we thought. Then he proceeded to use our names throughout our whole meal. Can customer service get any better than that? I think not.
They have an awesome tap & bottle beer selection which made the better half a happy man.
They also had «my vodka» which is semi-​popular but not always easy to fine. Well made drink in an ice-​y, tall glass. Delicious.
Our shots were poured well and promptly. Drinks offered to be refilled at the perfect time.
The dog décor is fabulous, I’ve never been so excited about décor anywhere. I want to meet the owners and hug them.
Food:
I ordered the mild buffalo chicken sandwich add provel cheese. I should’ve gone with hot but it was still yummy. REAL CHICKEN! So often I find creepy, frozen chicken patties. It was most, shredding as I bit into it and still perfectly fried. YUM! Cheese fries as my side. Sadly, the cheese fries were super cold. Amazingly, they were still completely delicious. That is definitely a good sign.
The better half ordered a bacon cheeseburger, MR. Burger was over cooked but it was still super seasoned and, somehow, juicy. Devoured it and loved it. Regular fries were hot, crispy and delicious.
We were both stuffed and happy. We aren’t smokers anymore and that was a bit overwhelming but we understand that is the norm in St. Charles. Music was playing, a little older than we listen to. However, the band was still great, harmonized amazing together and were fun to listen to.
We will be back as often as we can. Hopefully, next time, we will see some pups.

Oh so good. The food is a little on the pricey side but it’s really worth it. They have daily drink specials and its pet friendly. I went with a large group and were the pain in the ass table that split checks and the waitress was totally cool with it. It was a truly enjoyable experience.

I have had the pleasure of dining at this establishment 3 times within the last 4 months, and I must say, they never disappoint. The food, the atmosphere and the staff make the visit very much enjoyable. My only request, could you consider adding more fries to the meals? It seems like every time I get my burger, I do not get very many fries at all. Other than that, I will continue to be a costumer.

So it’s Sunday evening, 9÷6÷15 around 845 pm and we walk into your establishment and the first thing that is said to us by one of your staff is your shirt is terrible, get out of here. We were super hungry, came back from the loop to get food, first bar we walk into, and this us what he said. He may have been joking, but that is not good business! Your establishment is not Lambert’s, your not throwing rolls at people, therefore you should not be completely rude to someone who walks in the bar and was about to spend plenty of money. I will not be back and I will never buy your $ 3 slice of pizza after the bar closes as it is way overpriced and your shit stinks like the rest of us so get over yourself, you and your employees

Dog-​themed restaurant and bar on Historic Main Street in downtown St. Charles. The menu has a comprehensive selection. Most of my experiences there have been largely positive, and the one time that it wasn’t, the manager was quick to make things right. Love all the dog décor everywhere. Love the steak sandwich even more!

Love their blackened chicken sandwich, best around, and humongeous! The guys order their philly steak (real steak pieces, not slices) and Pork Tenderloin sandwich is also very large. They have deals during week, Monday is 16″ pizza for $ 6, way too much had to take half back to work for later. Service friendly. Great beer selection.

I came here a Tuesday night with two friends. One friend had the bison burger, which he said was awesome. My other friend had the 3 choice combo with the white chicken chili, Caesar salad and t-​ravs. She said it was great, and the portions were huge. I had the three choice combo as well with t-​ravs, half BLT and chicken tenders. Everything was great, but the chicken tender breading is kind of weird, but still good.
TC was our server, and I could not have been more happier with his service. He was extremely friendly and funny. He even named our table. Anyone who comes here, needs to have him be your server! He really is the best!

The food really wasn’t too bad. What ruined my entire experience was the absolutely awful service.
Our waitress took forever to get our drinks to start out. Then she seemingly forgot about us for about 20 minutes all the while people came in, sat down next to us, and then left because I guess she ignored them as well. The whole time we were there, we saw 2 sets of people come in and leave before us. There was only six of us and 2 – 4 of each of those sets.
The waitress never gave anyone water even though a few of us asked for it and my drink was dry for 5 minutes before she asked if i wanted another.
This did NOT occur doing a busy time of day either. It was 1:30 when we arrived and about 3:40 or so when we all paid and left.
The bathrooms at this place looked like they hadn’t been cleaned since three days prior and one of the bathrooms had feces all over the toilet seat.
I’ll never, ever go back.

After having left Tony’s, my boyfriend and I stopped by this place. We were seated but waited a very long time (20 min) and no one came by to take our drink orders. We walked out. Will not visit this place again.

The bad reviews are bizarre. I came here for the first time about a month ago, and it was a beautiful fall day, No waiting for a table, I sat out on the patio and even brought a beer inside that I bought from a street vendor! they were cool with it. I only ordered toasted ravs, which are very big and are pretty good. I think I’d come back here again for sure and try the menu. the service was pretty good too. I love Main St. and I enjoyed it here!

We had just given up on Lewis & Clarks after being ignored there and stopped in here for the first time as a second resort. We had just entered and were looking at something on the wall when a waiter came up and said «I’m so sorry, have you been waiting long?» We looked at each other laughing a little based on the experience we just came from and said «no, we just got here.»
The service from then on wasn’t super fast but it wasn’t offensive either. I was disappointed that they had run out of the chicken, which is what I originally ordered. However, I enjoyed my second order so it didn’t end up being a bust. My wife thought her meal was reasonable but I wouldn’t say she gave it rave reviews.
All in all I’ve probably added a star because it rescued us from a disappointing situation. I don’t know that it would be my first stop on the next trip to the area unless I planned on watching a game.

There were so many things wrong with this visit– I don’t even know where to begin. From the service, to the décor, and most importantly– the food.
I got the Brisket sandwich with 2 onion rings ($ 2.00 upcharge to sub 2 big onion rings instead of fries). You could have hammered a nail with this so called brisket, it was so dry and flavorless. So– I did something I almost NEVER do. I complained to the waitress. She grabbed my plate and took off, the manager shows up to inform me that he re-​dipped it in the aus jus. Yes. He RE-​DIPPED a sandwich that was on a table into the aus jus. And then said that he sells 70 pounds of brisket a week and didn’t understand why it would be so dry for me (My fault I guess)
Manager– «I don’t care if you sell 70 pounds or 500 pounds a week. I was only concerned about the 8 ounces on MY PLATE! (and it tasted like tree bark)
To his credit, he did send me a pork sandwich out which was much better and tender. (Only salt to season it, but whatever– it a bar)
Well– got the bill. Still charged me for the brisket which is 2 dollars more.
This restaurant needs to get it’s you know what together. Slow service and crappy food. Stay away.

Mediocre food. Nothing fantastic and certainly not worth the full 30 minute wait.
As everyone says the service is awful. Friendly, but considering I am a server, as well one of the people I came with, we know there was no excuses for not refilling a drink that was dry for the entire time we waited for our meal. Especially when you consider there was a total of 5 tables inside and outside.
I realize the lengthy time for the food to come out was most likely not at fault of our wait staff. So I warn anyone going here to a lot at least an hour and a half if you chose to dine here.
Ordered at 6:26, food arrived at 6:57. Considering we had 2 burgers Medium Rare and a sandwich, nonetheless on a Tuesday night there aren’t excuses for this, and at least keep our drinks refilled!

I eat here very frequently because I live down the street. The staff is always friendly and excellent even when they are slammed. The caesar salad is awesome as well as the wings! I can honestly say I have not had a menu item that was disappointing. I bring the pup regularly to hang on the patio and enjoy the foot traffic. The tap selection is an added bonus for a beer snob like me! If I had to choose a place that always takes care of me service, quality and food wise, this would be the place!!!

Unimpressed. More than half an hour wait for a bland, cold pork steak.
Slow service.
Prices higher than the quality of food.
The fries were OK.

Went down on Main Street around noon one Sunday & found This place. Thought it would be good to try, award wining soup White chicken chilli which was gooood.
The wings award winning sure tasted like it, the sweet chilli ones were great oh my goodness!(: asked if I could get a bottle or some of it, well they don’t sell it (I knew that but wanted to ask I’d pay$$) guess they couldn’t give me a outrageous price for a little bottle to make money LOL.
The mild ones were good to didn’t try the hot flavored one.(only three wing flavors)
I got the triple stack club (Amy) club with ham, bacon, turkey, tomato all the goods.
It was great! Huge but it fit in the mouth, I got sweet potato fries which were fries not waffle fries & they where great to & got a side of normal fries which havee a good seasoning. Tasted fantastic
Everything was awesome even the new server, lol.
For sure a place to stop by in the future for a meal. Or just 18 wings for 11 $ & any of their huge selection of beers.

I don’t usually review «bar and grill» type places because the food is always crap. Let’s be honest. You don’t care about complexity of flavors when you are drunk off your ass. I stopped by here for lunch on an weekend with low expectations (I was in the area; they had a patio and it was a nice day). But my chili and fried chicken were definitely above average bar food. The chicken were juicy and tender and not as greasy as the ones I find at my favorite chicken fast food places.

Good food, nice service. Also, when to blues score you get a % off your bill!
This is a great place to come as you are, whenever you feel like a relaxing hassle free time.

Definitely came here expecting to eat out of dog bowls and I was disappointed when my food was not included in that option!
Just an fyi, most appetizers are in dog bowls, and the kids meals are. Service was good, food was good. I got a mushroom swiss burger that I enjoyed. I would like to come back, but there are so many other places on Main street that I have not eaten yet!
