I absolutely love this place! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Lauren is fabulous at her job– she listens to what you want and makes the style work for you. My hair has never felt or looked better since I started going to her three years that I’ve been going to her. :)

I’ve been coming to Main Street Salon for about two years now. I absolutely love it! I come here specifically for Katie. She is so sweet and really listens to what you want. The color she puts on my hair always looks so rich and never dull. She is reasonably priced, and she is amazing at what she does. What more could you want?
Everyone who works there is also very kind too. I love the openness of the salon. It’s not prissy. It’s real quality with a reasonable price. Make sure you book an appointment with Katie!

Each hairstylist rent their own station, so I can only review my stylist, Diane. I’ve had her do my haircuts and colors for about 1 year now. She is able to look at the pics I bring for ideas and make it work for me. From subtle ombré to natural highlights she is able to nail it. She talks you through her plans for color and cut so you feel comfortable speaking up if you might want it a little different.
The salon is in a historic building on St. Charles main. So fun to watch people stroll by as you wait for color to process, especially during the holidays with horse carriages, santas, and happy families.
The salon is nice on the inside, but the owner needs to be sure to continually update and stay on top of repairs since this is a wonderful historic building. Having a few amenities for customers (wine, hot tea, coffee, cookies) would really up the experience.
