Burger Buckets

I was in there yesterday and i will NEVER return again and i will also let everyone i know the experience i had there. I should have walked out when the person that greeted me and responded to me «i guess a salad with no croutons».i asked him do you have gluten free.
I went in because my kids were excited. So. My wife ordrered a cheeseburger with no bun, she was NEVER asked how she would like it cooked. Needless to say when We received our food, my daughter’s pizza was as big as her hand and she was so disappointed, it was hard and could barely eat it she ate around the crust kind of pointless when your hungry. It seemed microwaved too long. My wife’s burger was served with one slice of tomato and one small leaf of lettuce, very sad looking. on top of it, it was cold and pink inside she asked for it to be cooked again, after she got the waitresses attention, she then tells my wife that unless specified «they are cooked medium well by defualt & i am sorry that looks rare» the waitress never came and asked how things were. She had them remake my wife’s burger, when the manager came with the new one he said can you check it, she did and it was still way pink inside and proceedes to tell her that medium well should be 145 degrees”…i looked it up and it says… Medium Well (150−165° F): Grill for 3 minutes, flip, grill for 6 more minutes. She kept it because we just wanted to get the hell out of there, we were in there way to long. To top it off my salad was small as well. For the prices your are asking your food is not worth it at all. And its representation was sad and uncaring. I have family that lives and Florida and i will definitely get the word out. Sad and disgusting. No customer service skills. And to top it all off we were still hungry when we left.

Burger buckets literally means buckets of food. My husband, daughter, and I all ordered burgers and fries — they were huge. 7 ounce burgers and a ton of fries.
The fries were super breaded and crispy with an almost sweet flavor. The burgers were tasty but all cooked to a medium well.
Our server was prompt and attentive and kept our glasses full without us asking.
We were too stuffed to try their homemade fudge and ice cream… but we’ll be back later.
A few hours later…
We came back for ice cream — fantastic! Make sure you save room for dessert because their homemade ice cream is worth it!

Great burger. Good fries. Super nice service. St. Aug has been hit or miss for food. So far this place is one of the best places I have been to yet. I’ll be back.

Even though there few not good reviews, I decided to give this place a chance and I’m glad I did.
We ordered cheeseburger and it was cooked to perfection.
Philly cheese steak was delicious and it really melted in mouth.
I will definitely recommend this place, must try for sure!!!

They had someone out on the sidewalk trying to get people walking by to stop in for lunch — so we did. But they were packed and had scramble a table together outside. We waited for a bit and the waitress told us the kitchen was backed up but we decided to stay anyway. Ended up being close to an hour to get food. Most of us tried burgers — they were OK. I had the maple fudge bacon burger that was dry. Someone else had a pulled pork and said it was ok. Kids meals were nothing special.
Overall the wait was too long — they should have taken the guy off the street and had him help inside, the food was ok and the value seemed low.

The food was ok, the service was slow. We ordered and it took close to 40 minutes to get our food. It was not busy at all. Good size portions, fries were good, burger good, chicken ok.

The first time I came to this restaurant I was with a large group and we were well accommodated and quickly served to. The second time I came, I came with my boyfriend and we were well taken care of, our server was very friendly and fun, a large group came in after us and she played a game with them and offered other tables if they would like to partake. The game consisted of guessing the flavor of popcorn, and you got a delicious prize if you won. We returned the following day and after getting there half an hour after breakfast ended we decided to go elsewhere (we reaaaaally wanted breakfast). As we were standing outside looking up a place to eat at, the chef personally came out and told us that he would be more than happy to make us breakfast. Besides the AMAZING service, this restaurant is easy on the wallet and offers a great variety of food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Service was amazing… they bend over backwards for ya… very quick service and very attentive!!! Wings were good and burgers were even better… they were Angus beef burgers… we had the mac and cheese burger and the breakfast burger… both were great. good beer selection… overall great lunch experience..

It was breakfast time (so we were supposed to order from the breakfast menu) but they still served us burgers! My fiancé ordered the triple piggy burger which was absolutely huge and overwhelming. I ordered the cheddar tower burger, also huge. Both burgers were expertly spiced with fresh ingredients. We would definitely come back when we visit St. Augustine, but we would probably order smaller burgers.

Good food. Terrible service. The woman who waited on our table made it very apparent she did not want to be there, but the younger woman waiting on the table in front of us was so pleasant. I wish we had her.
Even still, we had to wait extremely long for our food (even the salad) and some members of our party had cold food by the time it got to them. What I do appreciate is that they have multiple options for burger patties such as veggie burgers. The fries are thick cut and extra crispy. Love! The bread they used for the burger was pretty dry but I guess that’s why they give you ketchup.
Was the food worth the price? Yes. Would I dine here again? No.

Fantastic burgers and great service to! I read lots of reviews about this place, so we decided to give it a try. I had the monster triple piggy burger, my wife had the black and blue burger and upgraded the sweet potato waffle fries and my son had the classic bacon cheeseburger. Food came out fast hot and delicious.

Now I can dang near eat my weight in burgers. That’s a lot of burgers believe me. But, I stopped in today for breakfast. I’m working in the area and needed to kill some time. So that’s what fat kids do we eat. I ran in and the place was empty. I looked around and and it was let’s say a little disorganized. They are trying to spruce the place up a bit I later found out. I went for a hearty breakfast scramble with all the meats. It was hearty slap packed full of fried potatoes and sausage, bacon, ham, peppers, onions and all this topped with sausage gravy. Maybe a heartache on a plate but I was ready to dig in. It was alright let’s say everything from a can I believe. I work in a place that makes it’s gravy all day long. No comparison at all in my eyes. I have read a lot of the reviews but after all they can be wrong but in this case I think this place is ranked higher then it should be.

Expensive & crappy burgers.
Ignorant staff (especially that older lady who thinks that her primary duty is to watch for improperly parked cars outside, so she can call a tow truck company instead of just be a good waitress).

My hubby and I went here twice on our trip.
The first time wasn’t too good. The food was great but we had to wait about 10 minutes before an employee noticed us to give us a seat and then another 15 minutes to get menus and to order. I was pretty upset but my husband stayed in better spirits than me. The food was amazing and pretty cheap. That’s the only reason why we returned the next night.
We were seated after waiting a few minutes and ordered within 5 minutes. Much better than last time but we shouldn’t have to wait to be seated at all. Food was great.
I didn’t bother to complain to the manager because he was there both nights and saw everything that happened.
Ridiculous.

Had the double cheddar burger with onion rings. Fresh big burger with average flavor but certainly not worth $ 12.00.
This meaty monster offered only a half slice cheese, that was half on the patty and half on the plate. Had to use my finger nail to scrape melted cheese off the paper then lick it off my finger. Oh, no pink showing in my rare burger!

Good Burgers. Fries are very good. When you get done walk over to the ice cream parlor section and get the Hot fudge sundae you will not be disappointed

It may look like a run down beach –hole in the wall. But it has a lot to offer! We had breakfast and the server was great. Food was fast and delish. Definitely recommend

I was here over the Fourth of July weekend and expected the food to be mediocre and passable as a trap for hungry tourists, and I was completely wrong. I didn’t really know what to expect from ordering the fudge bacon burger, but it was delicious with just the right about sweetness from the maple bacon fudge.
Also, the corn nuggets were a gift from heaven. Corn nuggets are basically deep fried creamed corn. The batter was perfectly done and not too oily. Definitely order a basket or three.
There was a wait as it was a holiday weekend, but our server was overly energetic and the food came out hot. I’d come back if I ever visit St. Augustine again.

In town for a weekend getaway and the locals told us to try this place !!!
Was in the mood for great burger and it didn’t disappoint !!!
I got the bacon blackened blue burger and was delicious !!!
Wife got the mushroom Swiss burger and again was phenomenal ,
Their fries were served crispy and hot !!!
Wife got the sweet potato waffle fries and fell in love !!!
We will most certainly be back !!!

Best burger I’ve had in St. Augustine! !
The burger is actually thick and juicy, and the bun was fresh.
Definitely will choose this place over all others for a burger
