Went in to buy some crayons and glue for my daughter. Everyone was very friendly. The cashier was very nice.

I placed an order for Store Pickup. I used a Staples Rewards coupon, a Gift Card and a charged the balance. It said pickup in 2 hours. I arrived at the store 5 hours later to pick up the order. No merchandise. They said I ordered it from the warehouse and it would not be there today. I told them that I did NOT order it from the warehouse and there is a mistake. After several minutes of waiting, I finally convinced the employee to pull the merchandise(ink cartridges) off of the shelf. They then had to cancel the order I placed for store pickup. After another 15 – 20 minutes of waiting, I was told that the gift card will be replaced and shipped to the store! I now have to wait a week and call the store to see if my gift card came in. This process which should have been a few minutes took over 40. While this was going on, the store manager(Eva) chatted with a customer who had already checked out(while chomping on gum) which made other customers wait longer to make their purchases. She never got involved with my issue even though she was standing around the entire time. This store needs a customer service training program.
