Tire Stop

Yet again my tire guy came through! Cash is king and this is the tire kingdom you want to be when you need tires. No one beats their prices on a great selection of tires.
The long version, I walked in and handed the owner-​operator (at least that is who I think he is) a list of tires I was interested in buying: Michelin Premier A/​S, Bridgestone Driveguard, or Continental Trucontact. He did not have the tires I wanted, but offered me Hankook Optimo, Toyo Extensa, Goodyear Weatherhandler, and Cooper CS3.
I really wanted some Michelins so I started to shopping around online. I found some Michelins available at my other tire place (see review for Advanced Tire Services) and at a tire store in Napa (I was headed out there anyway). The Napa store had them for $ 60 cheaper than Advanced Tire Services, so I made an appointment to buy and install them (see review for Joe D’Adamo Tire – and others in Napa).
Although I went to Napa, because of various mistakes, I ended up driving back to Sacramento without new tires (detailed in other reviews). I really wanted Michelin tires, but read a lot of positive reviews on the Cooper CS3 tires so, I decided to go back to the Tire Stop and purchase them.
I called the Tire Stop in the morning and told them I wanted the Cooper tires and that I would stop in around 3 pm. The owner said, «no problem.» I showed up around 2:30 pm and had my new tires installed within 20 minutes. They are FAST!
I highly recommend the Tire Stop. If they accepted credit cards I would buy all my tires from them because of the incredible savings. This visit I saved over $ 100. Specifically, I saved $ 120 compared to Sears for the same tires or $ 240 for Michelin tires at the Napa store.

Might not be the best location but who cares when this place can take care of the problem right?
From the outside it looks like a casual and quick service in and out kind of vibe.
Right next to the tire stop there is a food stop, i believe it is own by the same owner and they are smart to have a food stop for people who might be wanting a quick snack.
Service
Pulled up and told us to park at the spot. Next asked what happened, then found the nail in the car, luckily it didn’t injure the car too much, next they patched it up within 5 mins.
Price
Very reasonable and affordable! I am very satisfy, gets the job done, and quick, and the next thing i know, i am on the go.

They were super fast and very reasonable. Had to go right next door to use the atm machine and they were done when I got back. Will definitely be back.

Fast and friendly service. In and out in minutes with a crew of three. Price was SOOO reasonable. I used Unilocal to determine where I’d go and saw only one (unfair) review that admitted he got a good deal, with quick service — just not the exact name-​brand tire he wanted. The other reviews were fine. Very friendly folk, immediate service. Great job.

Yesterday was a weird day. I was on the freeway on my way back to a convention. Next thing, I heard this weird sound, apparently my tire tread was peeling off and the rubber shreds was hitting the car. Off I went to the off ramp desperately looking for a tire shop… and lo and behold, i didn’t see a tire shop but I saw the Tire Stop. There seemed to be a commotion going on with a lot of people gathering outside but in the midst of chaotic scene, the owner saw me and right away took care of me. He got me a used tire and installed and all of these took place not even more than 15 minutes. I was shock and pleasantly surprised but to end it all, he even gave me a cold water drink before I left because it was pretty hot at the time. Thank you Mohammed and namaste. If I ever need any tires, I know where to look first.

I was looking for a replacement tire, hoping to get the same brand as the rest. My used car had tires replaced in the general area of this shop before I bought it so I was calling tire stores nearby to find the brand. I called this place and the guy told me he had the brand. That was a lie. Grudgingly I agreeing to buy the tire even though it wasn’t the brand that i wanted. The shop was also cash only, which I was not told up front. I was told cash only after my car tire was replaced. I had to end up getting cash from an atm at the quickemart next door. I suppose the cost of the tire I did get was lower than other places I could have bought a tire from, but since I was lied to I will never return to this place.
